▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃Samaria lay in her bed, wrapped snugly in her blankets, enjoying the last moments of sleep when her alarm pierced the quiet of the morning. She groaned, reluctantly reaching out to silence it, her fingers clumsily searching for her phone on the bedside table.
When she finally turned it off, she squinted at the screen -10:30AM. Panic set in as she realized she had just over an hour to get ready and make it to the airport.
She sat up quickly, shaking off the remnants of sleep, and slipped her feet into her warm, fuzzy slippers. Her hair was neatly secured under a bonnet, protecting the style she had gotten done the day before.
The sunlight began to creep through the curtains, gently illuminating her room. She shuffled across the floor toward the bathroom, feeling the plush carpet beneath her toes as she went.
Inside the bathroom, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror—her eyes still puffy from sleep, and her bonnet slightly askew. She adjusted it with a quick tug, turning on the shower and adjusting the water until it was just the right temperature.
Stepping under the showerhead, Samaria let the warm water pour over her, washing away the drowsiness and filling her with a sense of calm urgency.
The steady stream of water felt invigorating as it cascaded down her body, and the steam began to envelop the room.
She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the sensation and feeling herself slowly waking up with each passing second. Her favorite body wash, Dove, filled the bathroom with its rich, comforting scent, wrapping around her like a hug.
After rinsing off, she stepped out into the cool bathroom, grabbing a soft towel and wrapping it around herself as she shivered slightly from the sudden change in temperature.
She wiped away the condensation from the mirror, looking at her reflection with a newfound sense of alertness. Her skin felt refreshed, her eyes brighter.
She quickly brushed her lashes with a spoolie to give them a neat appearance, feeling grateful for the lash extensions that meant she didn't need makeup.
She dressed in her comfortable peach pink color Essentials sweatsuit, which felt like a warm embrace against her skin. She then slipped on her black Tasman Uggs, their soft interior making her feet feel cozy and secure.
Before heading downstairs, Samaria spritzed herself with her favorite perfume, Valentino, enjoying the familiar and sophisticated scent that gave her a final boost of confidence.
