I Really Like You

"I really like you too," I said looking down at his shoes then back up at his eyes

  "Really?!" He said really surprised "I mean really?" 

  "Yeah," I smiled "I really do,"

      All he could do was smile as he took my hand and we walked into another room. As we entered the room I seen all of my friends including my new friend Izzy, which was good. They were all with at least one of the boys; Izzy was with Shawn, Rian was with Carter, Leona was with Cam, Nash and Hayes, and the other boys all had a girl with them. So in all there were about 16 or 17 0f us, not very many but just enough to have a good time. Not a single person had a blank face, everyone was either talking or smiling. Just then I realized the music had turned off, and there was a short awkward silence and all attention turned to Matt and I. I got a bit scared and stepped behind Matt trying to hide my face behind his tall body. 

   "It's okay Teegan," he laughed "They won't bite,"

  "You sure they look a bit vicious," I joked coming out from behind him

  "I'm sure," He said quietly "If they hurt you, I'd probably hurt them,"

  "Really?" I said suddenly making everything about myself

  "Yeah," he said and held me tight to his chest

  "Okay," I said and took his hand back into mine

      Then the silence ended and everyone went back to what they were doing. Rian and Leona both looked at me confused like they didn't expect Matt and I to even like each other. Matt loosened his grip on me and looked down into my eyes. He placed a small kiss on my lips and looked down at the floor. 

"I'll always protect you if you'd let me,"  He whispered 

   I was a bit afraid we were moving too fast but I didn't care, I knew he was the one. 

"Okay," I said and looked up into his eyes.
