Chapter 3-Neighbours??

I was shocked. I justed stared at him frozen. The hot new kid could have sat with the pretty girls or the cool boys but he sat with me like a freak. Everyone looked at me with disgust and even one girl said, "Wyatt, don't sit with the freak come sit with us were cool."

"Actually I'm good, I'm going to sit here but thanks' ' He said.

He then pulled out the chair and sat next to me. I smiled at him. He then asked me what my name was.

"I'm Alyssa," I said.

"What a beautiful name, Alyssa. I love it" He said

"Thank you I also love the name Wyatt"

"Thanks, umm I want to say I really love your hair it's the same color as mine". I was shocked no one has ever complimented me before. I just stared at him. Why me?

"Hello, earth to Alyssa, are you there" he started to wave his hand up and down. I broke out of my trance and said "Thank you, you are so kind." then asked

"Why did you choose to sit with me? I'm a freak."

"Well I don't want to sit with those ullys and wanna be's Id rather sit with someone genuine and I could tell thats you, plus your really pretty. Lie the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" He then pushed a piece of my brown hair away from my face. I just stared into his green eyes. I could star at them all day. It was like a trance.

"Wow, thats really sweet of you but you sure you think I'm pretty I don't wan to be played with."

"No dummy I would never lie, I really do think your pretty"

"Wow, its just that i've never received a compliment before my life isn't very pretty"

"Really how come?" After he asked that I opened up to him about everything. My family, Connor, me getting bullied and he listened and cared about me. He then told me about him and boy was his life the opposite of mine. He was loved by everyone. It was kinda like a switch. We ended up talking for the whole day and even sat with each other at lunch. I could tell connor was really happy for me, and for once I was happy too.

"Hey, I was wondering if I could get your number?" he asked.

"Of course" I answered.

We then walked out of fourth period as the bell rang and it was time to go home. He told me that he walks home but it was raining and I dint want him walking home in the cold.

"I get driven by my friend Connor and his girlfriend everyday after and before school, I think he would love if you come" I stated.

"Really, I think thats too much to ask for." He said.

"Nonsense". Before he could say anything else or argue with me I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the car.

"Hey slow down he said as I was running now and he was chasing me.

"Your too slow" I said laughing but then out of nowhere I feel this warm hands wrap around my waist and lift me up it was Wyatt and he then carried me to the car. I was melting inside he must really love, I mean like me. We then jumped in the backseat of Connors truck/jeep.

"Hey who is this he asks me with a smile"

"My friend" I said. "Can you please give us a ride I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Of course I can, its finally your first friend".

Wyatt looked at me with a smile he was my first friend but I want him to be more. I live about 15 minutes away from the school with traffic 20. So I started to feel tired after the long school day. Wyatt could tell I was exhausted and let me put my head on his shoulder. He then grabbed my thigh and loved his hand to then connect with mine. It was the best feeling in the world. He then kissed me on my forehead and feel asleep on me. I could tell Connor was watching us and told Jenna to take a pic and Jenna even said we were cute together.

When we finally got to my street I opened the door to say by to Connor, Jenna, and Wyatt but Wyatt stared to get out of the car.

"You don't have to walk me to my door, just stay in the car" I said.

"I know but, my house is right there" He said.

Then it hit me we're neighbours.
