"OPEN THE DOOR!!"
"I'M HUNGRY!"
"OPEN IT"
"I'M STARVING!!"
"GIVE ME FOOD!"
Ji-Soo fell back in fear, and Na-Ri quickly rushed to her side. Both girls were still trying to process what was going on. Looking around for a weapon, Ji-Soo grabbed a baseball bat, and Na-Ri struggled to find something useful. Ji-Soo stood up, gripping the baseball bat, and slowly walked towards the door.
"What the fuck are you doing? Get back here," Na-Ri says from behind her.
Abruptly, the banging and screaming stopped. Na-Ri followed her sister and looked at the camera. The creature-women-thing was nowhere to be seen. The room filled with heavy breathing as the girls eyed the monitor. Na-Ri shook her head and put it in her hands. Ji-Soo looked at the monitor again for any signs of the creature, and then she screamed. Causing her to fall. Startled, Na-Ri jumped back as well.
"Is it still there, Ji-Soo?"
"No! I think it's a man," Ji-Soo rushed up from the ground and opened the door. Na-Ri followed her older sister, and low and behold, a man stood at their front door. The man looked to be in his early thirties. He was tall and bruting and had a large burn scar on the right side of his face.
Na-Ri eyed the blood-smeared indents on the door. Like Na-Ri, the bruting man stared, his eyes filled with curiosity.
Ji-Soo nervously started rambling. "Some woman was banging on the door, and she had blood all over her face...."
Na-Ri looked around as Ji-Soo tried to explain to the mysterious man what had happened. She sounded crazy. "She seemed hurt, but she was so angry, and she was banging on the door really hard."
Na-Ri followed the man's gaze on the bloody floor. The trail of blood led to a broken window at the end of the hallway. Ji-Soo also seemed to catch on.
"Did she jump out?" Na-Ri asked the older man in slight fear. The air around the trio became tense and thick. Na-Ri looked out the window and tried to imagine the crazy woman jumping out. She couldn't help but hope she was wrong and that the woman didn't jump.
BANG!
Na-Ri flinched at the sudden noise. She whipped her head around to see the man's fist pressed against her door. Na-Ri shot her sister a look. Was this man fucking insane? The man finally spoke.
"She wasn't just banging. She was ramming it."
Chills went down Na-Ri's spine. Her heartbeat sped up as she looked at the fist mark on the door. As she looked at the monsters, she noticed how small his mark was in comparison. Deep inside, Na-Ri had a feeling this was just the beginning.

Following the monster event and discovering that the mysterious man's name was Pyeon Sang-Wook, he brought the girls to the fourteenth floor. He told them he ran into a boy who told him about the same monster before passing out. Sang-Wook dragged the boy back into his apartment and left him to investigate.
While he was still passed out, the trio sat in the boy's apartment, talking about the matter.
"So you just left him on the floor like this?" Ji-Soo questioned. Na-Ri didn't understand what went through Sang-Wook's head. I mean, who would leave a boy passed out while monsters roamed around?
"Maybe we should call the police," the younger girl suggested.
"There's no cell service," Sang-Wook told the younger girl. In disbelief, Na-Ri took out her phone. Sang-Wook was right - there was no cell service. Na-Ri bit her thumb. What were they supposed to do?
"Then what should we do with the boy?" Na-Ri asked as she cleaned his bloody nose. Ji-Soo walked over to the unconscious boy and checked his pulse.
"He's still breathing. He's just sleeping," Ji-Soo said. Na-Ri let out a relieved sigh.
"He must really like video games," she said with a little giggle. Na-Ri looked around the boy's room. Video game posters, an anime poster, and a computer setup. Na-Ri gently brushed his long hair out of his face.
Sang-Wook sighed. "Carrying him around won't be easy." The older man rubbed his temples.
"I'll just go to the security office myself," Ji-Soo offered.
"No!"
"It's too dangerous for you to go alone," Sang-Wook said, backing Na-Ri up.
"Besides, whatever attacked us is still walking around the building, Ji-soo!" Na-Ri told her older sister.
Ji-Soo let out a defeated sigh. "What are we going to do?" The trio sat in silence, trying to come up with a plan. Snag-Wook spoke up with a plan.
"One of you can stay here... and the other can come with me."
Na-Ri was not going to let her sister risk her safety. So before she could answer...
"I'll go," Na-Ri quickly said. Ji-Soo looked at her younger sister and shook her head in disapproval.
"No, no. I'll go," Ji-Soo said, standing up.
"Ji-Soo, please. There might be people down there," she told her older sister.
"Okay. Fine. Take good care of my sister," she says, pointing her baseball bat at Sang-Wook. The older man nods his head.
Before Na-Ri could react, Ji-Soo pulled the small girl into a hug. "I'll kill you if you die out there, bean." Ji-Soo kissed her forehead, and Na-Ri smiled.
"Shut up," Na-Ri said, hugging back. Na-Ri was terrified, but she kept a brave face on. Knowing her sister would be safe made her feel better. Na-Ri couldn't live without her sister.
Sang-Wook cleared his throat. "We should get going."
Ji-Soo let go of her younger sister and squeezed her checks for a final time. She watched the big man and the small girl leave the room, leaving her alone with the boy. Sang-Wook shut the door behind them and wasted no time walking to the stairwell.
"You ready, kid?"
"Ready as I'll ever be."
