Abby's P.O.V
I arrive at the school doors. School isn't even open yet, I just wanted to leave early so I wouldn't have to talk to Ava. I sat on the ground, leaning against the cold wall of the school.
"Need some company?" said a voice.
Without even looking up I knew who it was. I recognised that Australian accent.
"No," I said sharply. I got up and walked passed him. As I walked to the back of the school, Luke followed behind me.
"Will you quit bothering me?" I shouted at him.
"I'm not. Maybe I wanna go this way too," he said looking proud of himself.
"Please what are you, 10?" I said with a scoff and turned back around.
I reached the back door, sat down infront of it like planned. Then Luke sat next to me.
"Why do you hate me so much?" he questioned before I could even open my mouth.
"Not just you, I hate everyone," I said sharply. "You got your answer. Now, fuck off."
"Is it true that Ben and Ava were together last night?" he questioned again.
"I don't know," I lied. "I also don't care."
We sat there for what seemed like an hour before one of us spoke.
"Will you leave me alone Luke?" I said annoyed.
"Why do you like being alone?" Luke said calmly.
"Because then, I won't get hurt."
My eyes widen after I realized what I said.
"Get hurt?" he questioned for the millionth time.
"I have to go," I said and run back to the front door of the school.

"Alright before everyone leaves I'm going to tell you the groups you are in for your history projects," mu history teacher Mrs. Jelia said. She grabbed her laptop and started reading the names.
"Group one will be Ashton, Michael, Luke and Calum."
Thank god Luke isn't in my group.
"Mary, Jake, Chloe and Robert."
"Kelly, Spencer, Chase, Henry."
"Hannah, Olive, Sydney and Abby."
"Justin, Liam, Jordan and Max."
Olive, Hannah and Sydney's faces fall in fear and terror when they hear my name. The bell rings and everyone gets up and rushes to the door, even Mrs. Jelia. I walk over to the three of them.
"Hey," I said crossing my arms. The three of them standing there looking scared as hell.
"Don't worry I'm not gonna kill you or anything. Wanna meet here after school for the project?" I said my face still on bitch mode. They stood quiet, I rolled my eyes. "Be here," I snapped and walked out of the room.

It was the end of the day and as much as I hate to stay at school, I kinda wanted to stay. Heck I'd go anywhere except home. I'm not in the mood at all to talk to Ava.
I walked into the classroom and found them sitting at table, shaking in their seats. I sit down and open my books.
"Well are you guys gonna help?" I question.
"Sorry," Olive says quietly. I swear she has a the voice of a mouse.

Sydney spoke up.
"Um, Abby can we ask you something?" she asked quietly. I close my book and lean back in my chair crossing my arms.
"What?" I snap.
"Why are you so mean to us, and everyone else?" Hannah asks.
I quietly laugh to myself.
"It's a long story," I say opening my book once again.
"Well, what's the story?" Hannah spoke again.
"Trust me, you don't wanna hear it," I snap. I grab my bag and books and walk out the classroom door. I checked my phone. 6 missed calls from Ava and 8 texts. Whatever. I walk out the front door, the door isn't glass or anything so I can't see what's on the other side. I saw Luke on the ground.
"Why are you-"
"You hit me with the damn door Abby," he said out of pain.
"Okay well, you're alive, so whatever," I say walking over him and out of school.
It was 7:30pm and it was starting to get dark. It was cold and I forgot my jacket at school so I just kept walking.
I could feel footsteps behind me, someone getting closer and closer to me. I freaked out and kicked the figure.
I turned on the flashlight on my phone and to my surprise, it was Luke.
"Jesus, Luke! Why the fuck did you do that?" I said calming myself down.
He stood up brushing the dirt off of himself.
"Well, you're walking home," he said raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah I'm aware," I said rolling my eyes.
"It's dangerous at night! You could get raped or something," he said worriedly.
"Why would you care?" I said annoyed. I'm so done with his shit.
"Because I'm your friend," he said smiling.
"No you're not. Don't you ever think for a damn second that we are friends," I said pushing him away.
I continued walking home, he continued following.

I got home, I was about to unlock the door when I noticed Luke standing behind me smiling all stupid.
"Are you coming in?" I questioned looking at him like he was an idiot.
"Sure why not?" he said. I just rolled my eyes.
I opened the door to find Ava hugging Ben and squealing. She turned around and looked so happy, happier then ever.
"Abby, Luke sit down!" she said smiling.
"Okay, we have something to tell you both," Ben said smiling.
"This past 5 months Ben and I have been dating and-" I cut her off.
"WHAT THE HELL?" I shout. Ava shushes me.
"We're engaged!" Ben and Ava say in unison.
"WHAT?!"
