YOU know the saying " right person, wrong time?" that was a phrase that explained you and chris, back in the high school you too dated. noting was wrong with the relationship, it didn't end in cheating or an agurement. it was because of you, you mental health absorbed you making it impossible to be in a relationship, so you ended in, chris wasnt mad he "understood" and it was "mutual" ,you both decided to stay friends.

now three years later you too are still friends, and even closer, but in chris's mind he wants you back. as you laid on your couch, a knock on your door was heard. you opened it to be met with chris, it was raining and he was drenched.

"chris what the hell" you dragged him in side and sat him at your kitchen island.

"wait here" you jogged upstairs and grabbed a towel for him. once you got back downstairs you gave it to him, then he spoke

"im sorry" he said

you were confused, you bsf showing up, drenched, now apologizing ?

"what" you said quietly

"i'm sorry that when we dated i couldn't help you, i just let you go, i didn't even try to get you back. i feel stupid for it." he said looking at you

you froze. you didn't know what to say or do, too just stood there.

" i loved you, and still do" he spoke softly

you walked closer to him and softly kissed him.

"i'm sorry, i didn't even try to work things out i just let my feelings get the worst of me in the heat of the moment" you finally said

to be honest you have dreamt about this moment since you to broke up, you never lost the love for him, it was nearly impossible for you too to fall out of love with eachother
