(Up there is my ref drawing for Lila, I'm a very visual person so it's helpful to have a face for her. Also I enjoy drawing in this style a lot haha)

I awoke to the sound of my groaning, shifting my body over from my back to my stomach as my arm scraped against what felt like pavement. Wherever I was, it smelled like shit, my nose scrunched as I lifted my head, glancing at my surroundings.

Huh. Looks like I'm in an alley or something. How the fuck did I get here?

I looked around in confusion, before a jolt of pain shot up my leg, causing me to flinch aggressively and grab onto my leg.

My leg! Something is wrong with-! Oh... uhhhh... whaaaAAAAAAT-

I stared down at my leg, only to see that I was covered in something brown... and soft. My hands grazed down my knee and calf, to which I noticed I was covered in hair or fur?!

"WHAT THE-" I snapped my hand up to my face as I examined the claws and furry paws that replaced them. "Oh fuck no. What is... no, I'm dreaming. HAH! I am... dreaming. Yes." I tried to convince myself, although it was painfully obvious to me that I was not due to the dull pain that lingered in my left calf.

That's odd. I thought as I carefully examined it. There's no wound, I can't imagine why it hurts. Maybe it's because I turned into A FUCKING FURRY?!

My face was overcome with confusion and irritation at the strange situation, not noticing the shuffling of a figure coming down the alleyway. I noticed them too late as I was yanked from the ground by the back of my neck. I squealed and quickly grasped at the hand to get them to let go, but to no avail. They threw me in front of them onto the pavement, my hands scraping against it roughly in an attempt to gain balance, they laughed darkly as they towered over me. I looked up at them in fear, panic rising in my chest as I was able to take in their appearance.

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING! EW-

"Heya darlin~. You lost little bunny~ heaheheh" He grumbled out to me, clearly intoxicated as he swayed unevenly over me. I gagged as his breath wafted towards me, still shocked at the way he looked. He looked like some sort of hyena lizard hybrid, his ears tall and stiff, stray hairs falling over his sickly maw as he drooled all over the place. He looked beastly, which seemed to match his personality perfectly given his actions and words. I quickly scampered backward on my back as he tried getting closer. "Kid..." He said with rising tension in his voice, I covered my mouth as he got closer. "I don't like being...ah... Ignored~" He ended with a low growl, his large and severely yellowed teeth on display.

"Uh-I...I..." My words fumbled in my throat, trying their best to fight this creep off. They failed miserably as I was far too overwhelmed with questions. He laughed with closed eyes as he stood up fully to catch his breath. I took the moment to orient myself back onto my legs, trying to find a way out of this situation quickly. I glanced back to the alleyway entrance where he had come from, which was now behind me. As he began coughing in front of me, I took the opportunity to jump up and begin dashing towards it. My legs were surprisingly strong and nimble, carrying me effortlessly towards freedom, only to stop short as another figure manifested on the sidewalk in front of it. It was much taller than me, and much slimmer than the other man behind me who was currently stumbling his way towards me in his drunken stupor. I said nothing as I locked eyes with the monster in front of me, he was slightly shrouded in shadow, the red light of the sky illuminating behind him. Looking at him sent a shiver of primal fear up my spine, and my body decided to take its chances with the brute behind it as it backed up quickly into his body.

Damn you, stupid instincts, do you ever listen?

The man's arms slithered around my waist as he breathed onto my face, his focus only on me as he panted heavily. "Where're yeh goin' little lady, hah?" He slurred out, I cringed at his tone but kept my eyes focused on the individual in front of us, who had begun walking towards us. The man suddenly grasped my face roughly, squishing my cheeks between his dull claws and facing me painfully towards his face. My vision was filled with his disgusting yellow teeth as he admired my expression of fear and anger. I knew I couldn't fight him off, as far as I could remember I've never been particularly strong. I shifted a bit as he began to speak directly into my face, my ears pricked up a bit as I began to hear a faint static sound engulf the space. "D'awww, yew shoulda kno-"
