~A/N: I am sorry for not updating daily, but my teacher gave us homework, and I was busted for not doing it, so I kinda had to do it over the last few days. Sorry! Part of why I didn't update was because of being busted, but the other part was that I lost the light. Figuratively and literally. I had the whole story line in my head, but I didn't write it down, and forgot it. I spent a lot of time saying in my bed, trying to figure it all out again. I still haven't got all of it back yet, but it'll come sooner or later. I'm hoping it'll be sooner. I also literally lost the light too. The power went out at my house, and I couldn't get online. This was also at night, so I couldn't write either. Luckily, while I was sitting on my bed, thinking about this story, I came up with this chapter, so it was like a blessing in disguise! Hope you enjoy, and tell me what you think about it!~

Vincent's P.O.V

A scream filled the mansion, and echoed against the wall. With me being only five, I was already sleeping, and the scream woke me up. It echoed and reverberated around the room, and I was frozen in place at the pure terror and pain in it. I got up slowly and rubbed my eyes, still sleepy. Mummy suddenly rushed in, and picked me up. Another scream was let loose, and I was shaken awake my my mother.

"Vince, honey, stay awake, okay? Are you okay? Did anything happen to you?" She asked.

My mummy is very sweet, and loves me very much. I looked up at her, and I saw that she was crying.

"Mummy, why are you crying? Are you sad?" I asked mummy, and wiped the tears away with my fist. "I'll protect you mummy! Nobody will hurt you!"

"Oh honey, I'm not sad. Don't worry about mummy. Come on, stay awake, we have to go check on Jade." she coaxed.

I perked up when I heard Jade. I think Jade is very sad. I want to make Jade happy, but I don't know why she's sad. When mummy stops moving, I can see daddy, and all my bothers inside Jade's room. They all just stare at her, and daddy goes to wake her up. Mummy placed me down, and went to go help daddy when Jade wasn't waking up. I walk over to James, and stare up at him.

They're all so tall... Why am I so short?

I pouted, and when James noticed me, he smiled and picked me up. I kissed him on the cheek, and snuggled into him. I then promptly fell asleep.

Jade's P.O.V

I was back with my father. All he did was stare at me, which made me feel scared. I looked around for an exit, but found none. We were in a room with no windows or doors, and was bare of any furniture except for the chair he was sitting on. He got up and slowly walked towards me, while I backed up. The walls seemed to be closing in on us, but I don't think my father noticed. He just continued to get closer to me, until his fingers enclosed around my neck, and started to squeeze. Squeezing harder and harder, I was losing air. My eyes burned, my head felt like it was going to explode, and I was starting to become numb. He was shaking me, telling me to wake up, but oddly enough, his voice was getting louder, and it wasn't even his voice. I was thrashing around violently, when suddenly, I woke up, and with my knife in my hand, I threw it.

I heard a cacophony of cries, and looked around the room, not really seeing for a moment, but then the nightmare faded away, and I resurfaced to reality. I was hyperventilating, and looked around. All of the boys were here, and all sprawled on the ground. The woman was on the ground near my bed, with her husband, a.k.a my mother's childhood friend was on top of her. I looked around confusingly until I spotted what had caused them to hit the floor. My pocketknife, which I remember I was holding when I fell asleep, was embedded in the wall across from me. I gasped, horror crossing my face as the woman's husband said everything was okay. He got up, and if he hadn't ducked in time, my knife would have embedded itself in him instead of the wall.
