Miss Mystic Falls Dress Shopping

Once we finally reached the first shop, one of many I’m sure, Caroline hopped out of the car excitedly as she squealed for me to hurry up. I muttered some profanities under my breath as I angrily got out of the car. I wish I could drive my car, my brothers haven’t even seen it even though I’ve been here for like 6 months. I usually park it at my apartment then vamp speed back and all. I closed the door behind me as Elena took Stefan’s hand in hers as they slowly walked behind me. I slowed down my walk till I matched the pace of Stefan’s walking as I said, “Hey, I’m going to drive myself to school tomorrow so don’t wait up okay?” Stefan kisses Elena on the cheek, indicating that we’d be in the store soon. She nodded and walked off into the store to find the bundle of joy named Caroline. “You have a car? Why didn’t you tell me? I mean, I was just trying to be nice and wait for you to hurry so we could get to school, but now that you have a car, I won’t wait up at all” Stefan said as he turned to me. “Well, you’re going to see my car tomorrow so again, don’t wait up” I said calling over my shoulder as I started for the store again. Stefan then decided to match my pace as he then said, “Oh, I wouldn’t dream of it” he finished with a smirk.

Once the automatic doors opened, a lady was right in front of us giving us a smile. “Hello! May I help you with anything?” the preppy lady said. I can’t stand her already; she’s more annoying than Caroline on her best day. “No thank you” I retorted as I gave the lady a fake smile. “Well, let me know if you need anything” she said as she walked away. “Rather not” I murmured to myself. I finally looked around at all of the dresses as I noticed that they were all pink and bright and frilly dresses; so not my style. I found Caroline and Elena in the back looking at dresses. Looks like they already found their dresses; that was fast. “Where have you been?” Caroline said once she saw me. She hurriedly grabbed a hold of my forearm and dragged me away to pick out a few dresses. “Help me!” I yelled as Stefan and Elena looked father and farther away with every step.

*10 minutes later*

“This one?” Caroline said in a bored tone as she held another dress in her hands. “No” none of these are my sense of style!” I said, flinging my hands in the air. I began to walk away as a red and black dress caught my eye. I got up quickly and walked to it, grabbing it off of the hook. “What about this one?” I said to Caroline as she looked in awe once she saw it. “It’s perfect!” she yelled allowing the whole store to look towards us.

I tried the dress on in the dressing room with a pair of my black pumps I was already wearing. This dress was a dark red with a black belt across the middle which was close to my style. The best thing is was that it was only 20 dollars! This store is so cheap. I showed Caroline, seeing as though Elena and Stefan were outside waiting for us. Caroline said it was perfect and shooed me back into the dressing room to change. I changed into my regular clothing as I put the dress back on its hook. We took Elena’s dress, Caroline’s dress, and my dress up to the cashier and the total came out to be only one-hundred dollars for all of our dresses. Caroline’s dress was a mix between a dark and light green, almost like an emerald color and it was so her. Elena’s dress was a blue sort of like the ocean. We all got into the cars we came in and headed home. Elena took her dress, Caroline took her dress and obviously took mine as we all went our separate ways. I walked into the Salvatore house as Damon was dancing to music. “What is wrong with you?” I yelled over the music as he was using his vampire speed to go everywhere. “I’m just having fun! Relax and take a chill pill sis” he said giving me his signature smirk. By the time I took a shower and everything, it was now ten o’clock at night. I got into my pajamas and cuddled into my bed as I stared off into space. I slowly felt my eyes close shut after about five minutes of boredom. I quickly fell asleep afterwards.
