Hazel Eyes

-6:30AM

A loud ringing sound filled my ears. I groaned in annoyance as i rolled over and slapped my hand against the alarm box before snuggling back into the warmth of my bed.

"Just five more minutes..." i murmured sleepily before drifting off again.

-7:40AM

I opened my eyes, yawning as i remembered i had school. i turned to my side and wondered why i didn't hear my alarm go off yet. I must have woken up early. I turned the alarm box towards me, seeing what time it was. My eyes widened in panic as i jumped out of my bed, realising i overslept.

"Oh my god, i need to hurry up!" i yelled to myself as i ran towards my closet and took out the first shirt and jeans i could grasp.

While running towards my bathroom, i was met with my mom. "Ana, what are you still doing here? You are supposed to be outside waiting for the bus." my mom said

"I know mom, i overslept" i whined in frustration, brushing my teeth hurriedly while getting dressed up.

My mom glanced at the time and then back at me. "Don't worry you are almost ready, you will be on time." she tried to calm me down.

"I hope." i said in a rush as i finished brushing my teeth and rinsed my mouth, taking a quick look at what i was wearing. I had a pair of skinny jeans and a basic black tube top on.
(Yall i know this outfit is horrendous, but since its 2010's im trying to go with that style.)

"Good enough." i said to myself, rushing towards my room and grabbing my backpack before walking towards the door.

"Bye mom, see you after school." i said, putting on my new uggs and baby phat jacket before running outside and towards the closest bus stop.

I reached it just when the bus was about to leave. "Wait!" i called out as i quickly ran towards the bus door and got in, sitting down on one of the seats.

I panted heavily as i tried to catch my breath, leaning back against my seat. "I should have went to sleep earlier." i sighed to myself.

"You overslept too huh?" i heard the person sitting next to me say. I didn't even realise i had sat with someone.

I turned towards them, seeing that it was a girl my age, she had dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. "Uh yeah." i chuckled nerveously.

She gave me a warm smile and i didn't feel so uncomfortable anymore. "I did too, i went to sleep late." she sighed.

"Same." i said, still a bit nerveous. "Im Hazel by the way." she suddenly said.

That name was really suitable for her because of her eyes. "Ana." i introduced myself. "I had just moved here." i added and she seemed to be interested in what i was saying.

"Really? That sounds so cool." she gave me that warm smile again. "I hope you like it here." Hazel said and i nodded.

i returned her warm smile. "I do." i chuckled before we both noticed the bus has arrived to school.
