Meeting Richie

I was walking towards Trevor when I felt a rock hit my back.
"Richie! She's new!"
I heard a high voice loud-whisper.
I turn around and see a short boy wearing a red shirt hiding behind a bush as well as a taller kid with glasses, also hiding behind a bush.
"Sorry."
The taller one said, trying to hold in his laughter.
I roll my eyes and say:
"It's alright."
The shorter one also rolls his eyes and speaks.
"He's Richie. He's like, really annoying."
He says in a quick and high voice.
"And he's Eddie. He's like, a pussy."
The guy with glasses says, smirking at 'Eddie'.
"I'm Y/N."
I say, looking at the two.
"Y/N! I think I know your mom."
'Richie' says. Eddie nudges him.
I chuckle and speak again.
"Anyway, I gotta get going."
I say, turning around and starting to walk.
"Tell your mom I said hi!"
Yelled Richie from behind.
I roll my eyes playfully and sit down next to Trevor.
"Hey!"
He says, looking up from his notebook full of doodles and absolutely no notes.
"What's that?"
I ask, nodding towards the notebook.
"Oh. Just some doodles."
He replies, looking at it then back at you.
"Made any new friends?"
I pause for a moment then nod.
"A few. Most are.. strange."
"Yeah, this school is strange in general."
He says with a smile as he continues doodling.
We continue talking about random things like how our classes were, his doodles, and stuff like that. We even had a drawing contest in his notebook. Soon, break finished, and I had Science next. Trevor went to his class (English), and I started walking towards mine. I'm glad I already had a friend.
