Bella, realizing she had no choice but to reveal the truth, sighed deeply. "Jacob is...well, he's kind of a werewolf," she admitted, removing her jacket to reveal a wolf charm bracelet, a clear sign of her connection to Jacob.
Alice and Katherine were momentarily stunned by Bella's revelation. They were aware of the existence of werewolves, but to find one so close to Bella was unnerving. Alice, her worry for Bella evident in her eyes, voiced her concern. "Bella, werewolves are not good company to keep," she warned.
Before Bella could respond, a voice echoed from behind them, "Speak for yourself." They turned around to find Jacob standing at the entrance, his arms crossed over his chest and a challenging look in his eyes.
The unexpected encounter with Jacob, coupled with the revelation of his true nature, added a new layer of complexity to Alice and Katherine's return to Forks. Their worries for Bella's safety were far from over, and they knew they had to tread carefully.
