A sense of unease hung in the air as Bella and Jacob engaged in a heated argument inside Bella's house. Outside, Alice and Katherine waited, their concern for Bella growing with each raised voice that echoed from within the house. However, the tension of the moment was soon overshadowed by a sudden, alarming vision that Alice had.

Without warning, Alice's eyes glazed over, her body stiffening as she was gripped by a vision. She saw Edward, his face filled with despair, standing in the grand, ancient city of Volterra. He was pleading with the Volturi kings, the powerful ruling class of the vampire world, to end his life. The vision was so vivid, so real, that Alice could feel the desperation emanating from Edward.

The vision ended as abruptly as it had started, leaving Alice shaken to her core. She didn't waste a moment, rushing into the house, her fear lending urgency to her steps. She burst into the room, interrupting Bella and Jacob's argument.

"Bella, we have a problem," Alice announced, her voice filled with a panic that made Bella and Jacob fall silent instantly. "Edward...he's gone to Volterra. He's asking the Volturi to kill him."

Bella, her face draining of color at Alice's words, responded in disbelief, "What? No, we...we have to stop him. We can't let him do this."

Katherine, who had followed Alice inside, quickly added, "Alice is right, Bella. We don't have a moment to lose. We need to get to Edward before he does something irreversible."

Alice, her mind racing with the urgency of the situation, nodded in agreement. "We'll need to leave immediately. Bella, can you handle this? It's going to be a tough journey."

Bella, her determination shining through her fear, responded, "I can handle it. Let's go. Let's save Edward."

The revelation of Edward's desperate decision marked the beginning of a race against time. As Alice, Bella, and Katherine prepared to embark on their urgent journey to Volterra, they knew they had to do everything in their power to save Edward.

Katherine's story, a tale of survival, change, and love, was continuing to unfold. As she navigated through her life with the Cullens and her shared moments with Rosalie, she was ready for whatever life had in store for her. Her story, as intriguing as it was unexpected, was just beginning.
