Chapter 1 -

"Hurry up Ariana! You've spent a year up there!" Her mom yelled from downstairs.

Ariana rolled her eyes "5 more minutes mom!" she yelled back from the bathroom. She continued to apply mascara to her eyelashes. After she was finished, she blinked a few times and smiled at herself in the mirror.

Satisfied with herself , she grabbed her bag and ran downstairs . "There you are." Her mother said while grabbing her car keys. She threw them to Ariana and went back to the couch, sipping her coffee.

Ariana caught it in her hands and skipped outside towards the red sports car that she drove to school every morning. "Bye mom!" she yelled behind her shoulder. She heard her mother yell back a goodbye. She slipped into her seat and started the engine . Then she began to drive towards Lincoln High.

Once she arrived , she got out of the car and locked the doors. She flattened out the creases in her purple dress and began to walk towards the building. When she was inside , she walked to her locker. Ariana eyes were scanning the hallways , looking for someone in particular . Then a boy had ran towards her panting and out of breath.

Ariana sighed and glared at the boy. "There you are! Took you long enough." she said sternly with a scowl. " Open my locker."

While he was opening her locker he was trying to apologize for coming late. "My mom was sick and I had to get her some-" he began to explain, but Ariana interrupted him. "I don't care. Shut up." she told him, leaning against the locker with her arms folded against her chest.

Austin, the boy had opened her locker and had taken out her physics book. He handed it to her and she snatched it out of his hand without a second thought. Then she just walked away from him without a 'thank you.'Austin sighed and shut Ariana's locker. He went to his own locker and took out his own physics book. Then he walked to his class. Him and Ariana had every class together but she had always acted like he wasn't there. When he walked in, he saw Ariana sitting with her boyfriend Finn in the back of the room and they were making out.

His heart dropped and he quickly slid into a seat in the front. He bit his lip and ran a hand through his light brown hair. Austin only had one friend, Cara. She was his best friend and the greatest. Though they only had few classes together and Physcology wasn't one of them. She knew about his crush on Ariana and thought he was crazy because Ariana is his bully but she still supports him.

The teacher walked into the classroom and placed his briefcase on his desk. Then the bell rung. "Class has started, everyone into a seat and Ariana and Finn please separate." he said strictly, glaring holes into the side of their heads.

Ariana didn't listen to Mr. Drew and continued to shove her tongue down Finn's throat. She pulled him closer to her which lead to Mr. Drew getting more aggravated. He crossed his arms over his chest. "Separate or I will call your mother Miss Grande." he threatened.

Ariana pulled away from Finn when hearing that. If a teacher calls her mother again, her mom will take away her car and she refuses to have it taken away. She needs it for shopping and parties. Walking was just too overrated for her.

"Thank you." He said, obviously annoyed with her. She rolled her eyes and crossed her legs under her desk. Mr. Drew turned away from her and began to teach his lesson. "Now class , I have come up with an assignment that everyone will need a partner for."

"Yes!" Austin heard Finn yell from the back of the room. He turned around in his seat to see Finn giving Ariana a quick kiss on her lips while holding her hand. Austin immediately turned around and slouched in his seat.
