It was a match day between Chelsea and Arsenal, Katie McCabe and her girlfriend Y/n are rivals as Y/n plays for Chelsea while Katie plays for Arsenal.
Before the game, Y/n has a bad feeling something’s gonna happen but tries to ignore it.
“Y/n you okay?” Erin asked
“Yeah just had a feeling.” Y/n said.
“About what?” Erin asked.
“That something will happen i can’t really explain.” Y/n said.
“Everything gonna be okay.” Erin said and smiled a little.
Y/n P.O.V
When we got to the Emirate stadium we greeted some fans before entering the building and went straight to the locker room to get ready for the practice before the game. While walking out of the locker room, i saw Katie and run to her.
“Hey.” I said after hugging Katie.
“Hey.” Katie said while smiling.
“Y/n come on.” Erin yelled and I smiled at Katie.
I started jogging towards the door and onto the pitch, I looked around and was amazed at how Emirates Stadium was.
After the practice
Emma discussed the strategies and everything before announcing the lineup for today.

After announcing the starting lineup we got ready and went out Millie was in front as she’s the captain, when we started lining up I saw Katie again and smiled at her which she smiled back before walking out towards the pitch.
The game started.

Chelsea had more possession of the ball while Y/n was running with the ball on her feet Wubben-moy stopped her and stole the ball away from her.
Guro got the ball back and passed it to Kerr before passing it to Y/n, Y/n tried to pass on the defense of Arsenal before she could do that Katie leaped and ended up stepping on Y/n legs and Katie ran away with the ball but got stopped when the whistle blew when Y/n didn’t get up right away and stayed layed down on the pitch.
Y/n P.O.V
I stayed down still on the pitch with the worst pain on my leg putting my arms on my face. I can hear someone talking but i don’t know who.
“Y/n what’s wrong?” Someone said.
“My legs.” I said.
Someone removed my arm around my face and I saw Erin in front of me.
“Everything gonna be okay.” Erin said and the medical staff arrived
“Where does it hurt Y/n?” They asked me.
“My left leg.” I said trying not to cry but when they touched and examined it I screamed in pain.
“We need a stretcher.” One of them said.
The stretcher came and they got ready to put you on the stretcher, I kept looking around and I couldn’t see where Katie was.
No one P.O.V
After what Katie did, she didn’t run to you and say sorry but she stayed back.
“What the fuck was that Katie?” Kim Little said with an angry voice when they got to the sideline.
“I didn’t even step on her.” Katie said.
“Katie she’s literally hurt what the fuck is wrong with you and she’s literally your girlfriend.” Kim said.
“It’s just a game.” Katie said.
When Guro heard it she went to Katie.
“What the hell is wrong with you can’t you see that she’s literally in pain right now and you saying it's just a game.” Guro yells and Kim tries to calm down Guro.
The ref went to Katie and showed her the red card before walking away. Guro decided to walk away and went back to the group.
While Y/n still getting checked out before being stretched off. When they were out of the pitch Y/n just closed her eyes as she heard some words Katie said.
Thankfully guro got subbed off and went with you towards the medical room.
Y/n P.O.V
“Guro what if I can’t play again.” I said after arriving at the medical room.
“Hey don’t say that everything will be okay.” Guro said holding my hands and squeezing it slowly.
We both stayed silent for 20 mins Guro kept squeezing my hand slowly. The door opened and Kim Little came in and went to my side.
“I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop her.” Kim said with a sad face.
“It’s okay.” I said.
“It’s not and did they say what’s wrong.” Kim asked
“Not yet just waiting still.” I said.
We talked for a few mins and Kim left after leaving me and Guro alone.
After the match, the girls slowly came in one by one saying sorry that it happened to me which I replied it’s okay.
I waited for Katie to come in but she didn’t come. We also won by 4-2.
I’m out for a few games after getting injured. We went back to the bus to leave the Emirates stadium i sat next to Guro and laid my head on her shoulder.
“Guro can you stay with me.” I said nervously.
“Of course.” Guro said.
The whole ride me and Guro just talked about random things until we arrived at our destination. Guro helped me and drove us back to my apartment when we got there I didn’t see Katie’s car parked outside I guess she was somewhere staying as she couldn’t even face me.
“Guro thank you for staying with me tonight.” I said with a smile while sitting on the couch watching random shows.
“No problem Y/n I’m here for you always.” Guro said with a smile.
I closed my eyes letting the tiredness consume me and guro stroking my hair after I lay down and put my head on her legs.

Y/n not knowing that Katie decided to stay at Caitlin’s house after the incident.
