I was on the coach when I decided to open my Instagram to check posts when I saw that broke my heart to pieces.

Chelsea Football Club can confirm striker Sam Kerr has sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during our warm weather training camp in Morocco.
Sam will be assessed by a specialist in the coming days and then begin her rehabilitation with the club's medical team.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Sam the very best for her recovery. 💙
After reading the post I became emotional I wasn't there when it happened. I looked around and saw Beth's reaction. Another player another ACL.
I put my phone down on the table and just looked outside the window, Alessia hugged me.
"She's gonna be okay." Alessia said.
"I wish I was there with her right now I don't want her to be alone after what happened to her." I said still looking outside.
Alessia took my hand and squeezed it and I looked at her and gave her a small smile.

Sam:hello? Me: hi. Sam:Y/n I miss you. Me: I miss you too and I'm so sorry I wish I was there with you right now. Sam:it's okay millie guro and Erin are here and are helping me right now. After that, we hung up.

I'm back with the girls after spending my time with Sam.
"How is she?" Steph asked.
"She's okay struggling a little bit but she will have surgery soon." I said.
"Wishing her a speedy recovery." Steph said.
"Thank you Steph." I said.
After our training the girls and I went straight for an ice bath. Before leaving the stadium Caitlin and Katie went straight to me.
"Y/n wait." Caitlin said.
"How can I help you guys?" I said.
"We're planning on having team bonding soon if you want to go." Katie said.
"I'm not sure if I can go girls I want to be there for Sam but I will try." I said.
"It's okay Y/n and we hope for her speedy recovery." Caitlin said.
