Teaser:
Falling in love is hard to do when no one will even look at you, and those that do hurry to look away. Andrea is a seventeen year old girl who has always wished for a sense of belonging, but being only half native to her tribe sets her apart from everyone else. And the other townspeople of Wapatau seem to avoid her just as easily. But life is always easier with a good friend. Her best (and only) friend Kaida has always been her moral support, and Kaida’s older brother Konai has always been there to tear her back down. With only days left in school, and the Spring Equinox festival just around the corner, Andrea looks at her life like a glass half empty. Until a random series of events, and a dark and stormy night, change her life forever.
My Thoughts:
It’s a story I read about a year ago.
This is another first for me. It’s actually the first time I read a story that circles on a tribe and on tribal living. It’s funny though since you’d be surprised on how hi-tech this tribe is. Well...you’ll just have to read to understand that part.
Regarding the story, it’s beautifully made and something that would surely make you gush and aw. You’ll hate the guy at first since you’d see him as arrogant and snobbish but later on you’ll understand why she acts that way and you’ll come to love their team up.
A little heads up though… the author hasn’t updated for almost a year now. I know it sucks, but please don’t let that be the reason as to why you won’t read such a beautiful story!!!
I promise that you won’t regret reading it!
To the lovely author that I dedicate this chapter to: I’m still waiting for your update. I understand that it must be hard to find time to update your story but don’t worry… were still here and will always be here… waiting for your update ;)
