Aaron loves High School, while Dakota thinks nothing about school is cool. Who would've thought that these two people are the best of friends? Not many people are happy, that's for sure. Being in love is hard. Being in love with your best friend is harder. Being in love with your best friend who is in an entirely different clique in High School is the hardest.
My thoughts:
I’m not being biased, honest, but I’m just proud to see a fellow Filipino that chose to write English stories instead of tagalog or Filipino stories.
Well I guess A and D is the typical best friend story that we read or watch, but that doesn’t mean it’s like the rest. Most of the time, when we face a story that seems cliché just like this we always think that it’s the same as the others: girl falls for her bff but her bff is in love with someone that seems so perfect so she hides her feelings blah blah blah… and in the end they still end up together, typical. But if you actually think hard, it’s just the concept that’s the same: the girl that falls for her best friend, but other than that it’s a completely different story from the others. It’s just the beginning and the end that we know about. Isn’t what’s in the middle what matters most? Isn’t it more important to know about the things they went through before they reached that ‘happily ever after’?
Yeah I’m being very emotional so I’ll just stop before I make a fool out of myself, if I still haven’t.
Well to end my rant… it’s a great story that deserves peoples time… thought a lot of people have already read it… ;P
