Back over in the rehursal space now, you see Jakes face revealing the running thoughts in his mind.

"What? What are you thinking about?"- You ask intreegly.

"Huh? Oh nothing nothing.
How did you think it went?" Jake responds dodging you intirely.

"Hmm okay. Yeah I think it went well, the characters came across strongly in my opinion. What about you?"

"Oh uhm yeah definitely had good chemistry. But I feel the kiss wasn't quite right for the characters"

You're stunned, your trying to make sense of what he said, what does he mean?.

"Oh uh can you explain that a bit more. Wa-Was it not a good kiss or-?"

Jake interrupts immediately;
"No No! Definitely was a good kiss, I uhm well... it didn't seem to fit the tone of the peice."

You keep looking at jake while he dilebretly avoids your eyes.

"Okay, well what kind of kiss would of fit the scene?" You stand eagerly waiting a response.

"It was to soft. They have just found out they are both in love with each other. All the passion of the years of heartache have finally been let loose. I feel the kiss would of been rougher and more... intense".
Jake stands waiting for your response.

You don't quite know what to say.
'Is he serious? Does he just want to kiss again? Does he care so much about the scene?'
All these questions racing through your mind.

"Okay" You start to respond.
"I can see where your coming from. But I don't think we are preforming again...
Did you still what to rehurse it or was that just helpful criticism?"

"Oh uhm yeah your probably right no need to worry about it.
Anyway, yeah the scene was good, we definitely have good chemistry."

You kinda giggle while still pondering on the reason he would mention the kiss.

You two kinda just talk about why you joined an acting college while others seem to be doing the same.

"Right guys" - Hannah comes back in -
" I have just had a call from the year above leader and he is wanting to meet you guys. I let him know we have just rehursed and performed a Romantic peice and is wanting to see one couple.
This can be one that performed earlier or not. He will be here in 30 minutes so let me know if you would like to be that Couple!."
She leaves again.

You and Jake just look at each other for 5 seconds.

As soon as you open your mouth jake practically shouts.
"Let's do it. We should preform for the head of next year!"

"What? Really? we already preformed"

"Yeah but we want to make a good impression, plus..."
He stops himself.

'Plus? Plus what? what was he gonna say. Is it about the kiss?' You think.
You go to ask but he just runs out the room.

You follow him to see him already talking to hannah. She waves at you and you slowly walk over.

"Okay great, go rehurse some more. Can't wait to see it again!"

"Thank you!" Jake says back.
He now turns to you, takes your hand and brings you back to the rehursal space.

You've accepted your fate now.
You both start reading the lines again, getting more confident with the characters.

You get to the kiss stage directions.
You look jake in the eyes

"Okay, this is it. How did you want to kiss?"

With no warning he kisses you. So passionately your whole body relaxes. You grab his hair and sink into the feeling of being held by him.
His hands grab your waist and pull you in more and more until your chest-to-chest.
You pull away but he pulls you back, getting rougher.

You can hear people whisper and feel their eyes on you. You pull away firmly and just continue the scene, ignoring everyone's gazes.

Jake looks stunned yet impressed. You both continue the scene until the end.

You look up at him and say
"That better?"
He dosnt respond
"Any more notes?"

He looks at you and smirks, his eyes tracing every inch of you.

"Much better, no notes."

You feel pleased with yourself in more ways then one.
Jake leans in and whispers in your ear.
"But I don't think we should kiss for so long when we perform, or kissing won't be the only passionate act we do today"

He stands up straight, looks at you dead in the eyes, turns around and gets some water.

Your frozen. Face bright red and you can feel the pulses of your heart racing. You can't keep your eyes of him while he runs his hands through his hair.

He comes back over and you both try to act as if nothings happend. You both continue rehursing.

Finally the head of the upper year arrives and Hannah gets everyone to sit as an audience.
After a little Introduction he asked you and jake to come up and perform.

And again Jake comes over and gives you his hand to help you up.

You nervously walk to the from and take a deep breath.

Jake leans over and whispers softly in your ear;

"You ready?"
You nod.

I just redownloaded wattpad and found this story. I don't remember writing it but got re-inspired. So here's the next bit. I have no idea how I intended it to end and I have no idea how to end it now either so would love some suggestions. Also let me know your thoughts please ❤️
