The sundrop and moonstone's Journey 

Beginning

Author's note:
So this is my first story I'm publishing so if you notice that it's pretty trashy that would be why. So please don't judge! Also the cover photo isn't mine I just found it and decided to use it but I might change it to be my own art work when I have time. Anyways I hope your having a great morning/day/evening/night!

Gothel's POV:
The last thing I could remember was looking up at the top of the tower and then blacking out. But now I was in this place that felt familiar, with it's black and blue walls, floor and roof. But where was I? I thought. It took me a minute but once I realized where I was I started to panic. I was in the dark kingdom, which meant my precious sundrop flower was out of reach! How could  I get it back? The journey would take weeks! I thought aloud. Well I guess I'll have to get a move on before my flower gets to far said under my breath. I was about to walk forward, when I realized I couldn't move. I was stuck in this cocoon made up of black rocks. No, no, no, I yelled out! But my fear started to calm down when I heard a voice. Where was it coming from? I asked, knowing I wasn't gonna get a response. That's when I realized it was  male's voice or to be specific a boy's voice. But something felt different about this boy's voice, like it was calming. Like it was special, like it was magical! Yes that's it! I cried out in joy. It's the precious moonstone the one I've been looking for, for years! I said in my head. But wait he's not alone, yes he's with my precious flower! I said with pure relief and joy. Soon my thoughts were cut of by a glow. This glow grew brighter and brighter until it turned into a vision. A vision of the child, the moon child and my flower. Yes, yes, yes! I yelled. We are connected me and the mysterious boy. That mean I can bring him and the sun child to me, and they can free me with their magic! I could almost feel the power flowing through me! I said with a laugh of pure evil. Now all I have to do is get his attention. I know just the thing! Oh just you wait little moon boy tonight you and I are gonna meet in your dreams! Get ready little moonstone, mommy gothel is gonna be very powerful soon when you come home to the dark kingdom!

Varian's POV:
I was hanging out with Aqua, we were having a picnic in Corona's castle gardens, when Ruddiger pounced on me. "Rudiger!" I yelled. "I think he just wanted to give you some kisses." Said Aqua with a giggle. "Well that was very sweet of you Rudiger, but next time can you not give me a heart attack?" I said with a playful tone. Me and Aqua were stroking Rudiger's soft fur, when Lance showed up out of no where. "Hey! Whatcha guys up to?" He asked. I was about to respond and tell Lance to mind his own business, but Aqua spoke up beforeI could open my mouth. " we're just hanging out and talking about this new invention Varian came up with." She said with a pleasant smile on her face. Wow. She's so sweet. Lance almost always gets on my nerves, how does she always remain so nice and friendly? I thought. "Well, I'll leave you two alone now." Lance said as he walked away. "Anyways, where we're? Aqua said with a smile. I was about to respond when I noticed her eyes gazing into mine, and I suddenly forgot how to speak. "Um... you okay?" Aqua asked with a look of concern on her face. "Oh, yeah, jjust ttired." I replied with a stutter. "Alright, just making sure." She replied to my response. "Yeah nothing to worry about here," I said with an embarrassment face. "So, um... it's getting late I think I should head back before it gets dark. We've got a long day tomorrow." I said with a yawn. "Yyeah your right. It's just I was hoping to hanging out a little longer." Replied Aqua with a disappointed sigh. "Hey, I get it. I like spending time with you too." Said with a slight blush on my cheeks. She turned to face me again. And as soon as I saw her beautiful big eyes gaze into mine, I could feel the blush on my face turn darker and my body started to heat up. But to my surprise I saw a blush on her face too. Wait!? Does this mean she likes me too? I thought. But soon that moment ended, when Aqua suddenly turned around and started to walk away. Before I knew what I was doing, I ran up to her and grabbed her arm. She suddenly turned around with a surprised look on her face. And that's when I got sudden burst of courage. "Hey. Would you mmaybe like tto go hang out at my place for tthe nnight?" I said with the most awkward tone I think I could have ever done. And as soon as the words came out of my mouth I felt a large heap of regret. Why in the heck did I do that!? Now I just made it weird! I thought as panic filled my brain. But before I could think more she suddenly grasped both my hands in hers and turned her head up to face me. "I'd love too." She said with a shy voice as the blush on her face darkened. "Oh okay. Really!? I said in response. "Sure! Why not? It could be a... a, a sleepover!" She said with a glee! "Cool! Um, well this sleep over isn't gonna start by us just standing here!" I said with a giggle. Before I knew it we were riding Hurricane; Aqua's dragon, to my house. Soon in a matter of minutes we arrived. "Thanks Hurricane!" Aqua said to her dragon with a grateful smile as she followed me into my house. "Thanks for letting me come over Varian." She said with a happy smile. "It's the least I could do after you set up that picnic earlier for us." I said in response. "Well I guess we're even then!" She said back. "I guess we are." I said. "So um... their's only one bed, so I'll just sleep on the floor." I said in a quite voice. "Are you sure? I don't mind sleeping on the floor?" She said with a generous tone. " No don't worry about me I'm fine. Besides your my guest I want you to get good rest." I said trying to cover up her guilt. " But what about you? You need good rest as well?" Asked with concern. "I'm fine really." I said trying to let her know I was fine. But she wouldn't give up. " Or we could just share the bed. It's not that small and I don't mind if you don't?" She said with an embarrassing tone. I was shocked. Wait, what!? Is she trying to make an excuse to snuggle? No she wouldn't. Would she I thought. But I decided to come back to reality. Okay be cool Varian this is what you want this is how to make a move on her. Just act cool. I thought to myself. "Um.. yeah ssure, that works too cutie." I said with a embarrassed stutter. Oh my gosh! What have you done now Varian!? You idiot why did you call her cutie!? You just got yourself in an embarrassing position. I thought with panic. But to my absolute surprise she replied with a confident "Okay than it's settled handsome, you and I will sleep together. That way no one has to fell guilty." Wait!? Did she just call me handsome!? Well I guess that worked better than I had planned. I thought feeling a little more confident now. "You coming?" She asked extending out a hand for me. I happily took it as she dragged me to my room. "Okay. So which side do you want to sleep on?" I asked trying to sound confident. "Um... doesn't matter to me." Aqua said with a polite voice. Oh no here we go again I thought. Another awkward situation. I wasn't about to respond with no go ahead you choose but I was interrupt by Rudiger tripping me, making me fall to the ground. But before I could hit my bedroom floor, I felt to gentle arms wrap around me breaking my fall. I turned my head up to see Aqua looking at me with a concerned expression. "You okay googles?" She said with worry. "Yeah pperfectly fine. Thanks to you." I said with an awkward laugh. "Well I'm just gladden your okay." She said with relief while still holding me in her arms. Soon I was standing on my feet again. I was about to speak again so we could solve are awkward problem when Aqua suddenly slipped on one of my blankets falling backwards. This time it was my turn to catch her. "Thanks" she said with a chuckle. "No prob" I said. But before Aqua could stand up. I suddenly tripped on the Same blanket she had and we both went tumbling onto my bed. "Well I think we know where we're sleeping tonight." She said with a laugh. "Yeah I guess so." Said back. "Cool so um do you have any pjs to wear?" I asked suddenly realizing that we should be getting to bed. "Oh um.. no I guess I hadn't thought about that? Well I guess I'll just wear this tonight." She said with an uncomfortable giggle. "Or you could borrow come of mine. I know your a girl but maybe it could work!? I said with a shy face. "I think that could work. Um thanks Varian. What can I do to repay you?" She asked. "oh, you don't have to repay me. It's no big deal it's what friends are for." I said with a pink face. "Well your a really good friend." She said with a shy voice. "Well I try." I said feeling flattered. "Man I'm tired. Better get to bed or I'll be a grump tomorrow." I said with a yawn while trying to break the silence. "Um... Varian." " yeah?" "What are you doing?" She asked. "Um getting in bed?" I asked confused. "With clothes on?" She asked. I suddenly felt awkward. "Oh uh well I usually sleep without a shirt but I thought it would be a little weird for you." I said feeling my face heat up. "Why?" She said in response. " Well I don't know. I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable." I said with a chuckle. "Me? Oh I'm fine. That stuff doesn't bother me. You can take your shirt off it you want to." Aqua said trying to cover her embarrassment. "Oh wait I didn't mean it like that!" She said in a frantic tone trying to cover up what she had just said. "No it's okay I knew what you meant." I said trying to reassure her. At first I was gonna tell her I'm fine but at night I get really over heated so I would really like to take my shirt off I thought. You know what, we will be a sleep anyways it doesn't matter Varian. Be comfortable, if she says it doesn't make her uncomfortable than it shouldn't make you uncomfortable either. I thought to my self in a pep talk kind of way. "Alright then." I said trying to sound confident. "I can turn around if you want?" She asked with concern for my comfort. "No it's fine." I said trying to sound cool. Besides I kind of wanted her to see me. As weird as it sounded. But I've heard from Rapunzel that girls like seeing a confident guy. And Eugene said that guys find it hot when A guy takes his shirt off. And I want her to think I'm hot I thought to my self. Soon I snapped back from my thoughts and noticed she was staring at me. Yes it's working I thought aloud. "What's working?" "Oh uh nothing." I said trying to cover it up. "Um.. you gonna sleep standing or are you gonna get in bed?" She asked feeling awkward. "Yes, yes of course." I said back. She then patted the bed, gesturing for me to come over. "I won't bite, if that's what your worried about." She said. "Oh I know, I'm just uh not used to sleep with someone else." I said feeling flustered. "Well how about we change that?" She said with a smirk. "Ugh yeah sure." I said feeling a blush creep in.

Aqua's POV:
I was patiently waiting for Varian to join me in bed. When suddenly felt a chill run up my spine. Man I hate the cold I thought. "Hey are you okay?" Varian asked with concern. "Yyyeeaahhh. Jjjjuusssttt fiiiineee." I said with a shiver. "No your not. You look cold do you need an extra blanket?" He asked trying to make sure I felt comfortable. "No I'm fine thank you." I said in response. "Okay than if you say so." He asked in way that he seemed not too sure he believed me. Soon, Varian was snuggled up under the blanket and that's when I could feel my body starting to calm down. I guess Varian's body heat must be warming me up I thought. Well at least I won't be cold then I thought with relief. But something was missing. A song. Ugh Stupid Aqua you can't ask Varian to sing for you that just sounds stupid. I thought. But Varian must of sense somethings as wrong because he suddenly turned over to face me. "Are you alright? Is something wrong?" He asked with either most gentle tone. Well theirs no hurt in asking Aqua just play it cool. "It's just Rapunzel always sings to me before bed it calms me." I said suddenly feeling flustered. "Well I may not be Rapunzel and I most certainly can't sing like her. But I could can still sing. If you'd like me to?" He asked with a loving tone. "Really!? You'd do that for me?" I asked feeling more happy by his body's warm. "Sure!" Varian said. "Your so sweet hair stripe." I said feeling grateful for his kindness. "Thanks Aqua. That means a lot. But I'm warning you I'm not the best singer." He said with a chuckle. "I don't care if you sing bad or perfectly it's the thought that counts." I said with a smile. "Well in that case. Here goes nothing." Varian said with a sign.

Good night my angel now it's time to sleep.

Aqua closed her eyes and nuzzled into Varian's chest as he sang. He stopped to admire her beauty and then he gentle rested his head on hers and began again.

And still so many things I wanna Say.
Remember all the songs you sang for me.
When we went sailing on an emerald bay.
And like a boat out on the ocean.
I'm rocking you to sleep.
The water's dark and deep inside this ancient heart.
You'll always be a part of me. 
Suddenly he stopped to see Aqua burred in his chest softly breathing as she laced a sleep on him. He decided it wouldn't cause no harm to show some love. So he softly and sweetly gave her a gentle kiss on the head. And to his relief she didn't wake up.
