Day of banquet

Taehyung and Jungkook are in their room getting ready. Jungkook was standing in front of the mirror but flinched feeling someone hug him from behind but he calmed down recognizing that person's scent.

"Baby Highness" Taehyung called and Jungkook hummed in response.

"Are you sure you can handle it?" Taehyung asked snuggling into Jungkook's neck.

"I told you right. I am fine. My father was everything but good to me." Jungkook said but bit his lip realising what he said.

"What did you say?" Taehyung whispered in his deep voice into Jungkook's ear his eyes already flashing blue.

"N-nothing, Hyung" Jungkook said and cursed himself for stuttering.

Taehyung backed away from the hug and turned Jungkook to face him.

"Tell me bunny" Taehyung said and cupped Jungkook's face.

"It's nothing,Hyung" Jungkook said and took Taehyung's hands from his cheeks and holding it in his hands.

Taehyung pulled his hand back.

"Don't you trust me,bunny?" Taehyung asked realising that Jungkook was reluctant to tell him all it is about.

"I do" Jungkook replied.

"Then why are hiding things from me?" Taehyung asked his anger slowly rising at the thought of his angel in pain.

"No I am no-" Jungkook started but Taehyung cut him off.

"Then tell me what did you father do to you?" Taehyung asked in anger.

"No" Jungkook replied bluntly.

"What?" Taehyung asked surprised by Jungkook's response.

"I said no I won't tell you" Jungkook repeated.

"Why?" Taehyung almost yelled.

"Because I am not the only one hiding things." Jungkook finally shouted making Taehyung dumbfounded.

"You want to know about my problems but you don't want to share yours. Every time I ask you, you act defensive and end up shouting on me or you change the topic.Why?" Jungkook added but Taehyung just stood there irresponsive.

"So no I won't tell you till you also learn to share your problems" Jungkook said and turned to go but stopped hearing Taehyung's voice.

"I can't Kookie" Taehyung said his voice vulnerable.

"It triggers me. I promise I will tell you someday but not now. I am not ready Kookie." Taehyung added his eyes glistened with painful tears.

"Hyungie" Jungkook said and came closer to Taehyung. This was the first time he saw tears in his Hyungie's eyes and he definitely didn't like the sight of it.

"I am sorry Hyungie. Please don't cry."Jungkook said and engulfed Taehyung in his arms.

"It's okay I understand. I shouldn't have forced you to open up when I myself was hiding things." Taehyung replied trying to stop his tears.

"If you want you can keep it to yourself forever. As long as you are comfortable with it. But please don't cry." Jungkook said almost crying himself.

Taehyung pulled back from the hug and kissed both of Jungkook's eyes.

"You are telling me not to cry but you yourself is crying." Taehyung said.

"I will te-" Taehyung was cut off by a knock on their door.
