When Daichi said that both Sugawara and Tanaka stared at him.
"...um how exactly do you plan on doing that?" Sugawara questioned Daichi.
"Yeah! You know how arrogant the bastards can be!" Tanaka yelled out.
With Daichi thinking through his mind and gave the two of them an answer, "Well, Asahi really just quit because of his problem with Nishinoya, so all we have to do is get him to apologize to Asahi and things should be alright"
Sugawara then point out the other factor, "Alright...nut what about Kai-san?"
This caused Kageyama to place his two cent into the conversation, "You keep talking about him like he's some ruler"
Hinata also pitched in, "I'd say you're just jealous that he might be better than you" he says this with smug line look forming on his face.
Kageyama only clicked his tongue in annoyance for what Hinata just said.
"Kai...isn't someone to be underestimated Kageyama, when he came in as a first-year, we thought he was gonna be just like the rest of us....but we were wrong on so many different levels" Daichi said.
As Kageyama heard that...he couldn't help but ask Daichi what positions does Kai play.
When that was asked, Daichi had a look of reminiscing, "Kai was someone who specialized on Wing Spiker saying he born to play that position ever since he first held a ball....but the truth is....Kai was able to play any position from setter to middle-blocker, we all knew that if anything were to happen to one of us...Kai would be the one to fill in our spot, and frankly, we were ok with it, last year I sustained an injury on my arm so I couldn't play for 3 weeks, I was pretty bummed out, but during that time I got to see what Kai was really like in a game. Everytime the ball would go to him it was so mesmerizing to see what would happen next, because of him we almost never lost a game, we almost went to Nationals because of it. One of our last games before Nationals, Kai wasn't able to be at the game.....and we lost. We would always see him at practice and during games trying his hardest, so we felt disappointed having to tell him we lost. But to our surprise, he didn't care that we lost, he was happy that we got as close as we did and couldn't wait to make it to Nationals next year. As summer camp came to an end so did his love for volleyball. We were sad that he didn't change his mind, but it was his choice, not long after the incident with Asahi happened, then after, we started losing more and more. We asked ourselves, "what would Kai do in this situation?" We over thought it too much that we ended up just asking him about it, he told us that it wasn't up to him to decide, it was up to us if we wanted to keep losing or start winning, so we started practicing, and he would attend our practices sometimes. He would motivate us to keep going, we started doing better and climbing the ranks again. Next thing we know, we're in the top 10. Here we are now, but I wish Asahi and Kai were able to be here to experience it us"
As Daichi finished, this whole time Hinata was mesmerized by the story.
"So now we know his story, what does he look like?" Kageyama asked with Suguwara filling in on what Kai looks like.
"Well, for starters, Kai-san has dark blue eyes and pale like hair and I would say he's about close to your height, Hinata"
Once Suguwara said that, Hinata's eyes widen, "Wait a minute...does he wear a red like jacket with the word "Ego" on it?" As Hinata asked that the two third years and one second year started at Hinata.
