it's been 2 days since Nika got the call from her girlfriend when she was in my dorm and i couldn't stop thinking about her and her girlfriend.

Nika was happy with her, except for the times where she was overprotective, sort of abusive and just straight up toxic. and i couldn't tell Nika wanted a break, but she was scared of Taylor, her girlfriend, and what she would do to her if they broke up.

it a tuesday night and i'm listening to Halley's Comet by Billie Eilish. i thought of how Nika loves when i play this song, but then i also remembered the time that i third wheeled them and played this song.

*flashback, May 2023*

i was sitting in Nika's dorm listening to Halley's Comet by Billie Eilish when all of a sudden Taylor walks in and she looks at me up and down before turning to Nika.

"hi babyyyy" Taylor screeched making me cover my ears as she ran over to Nika. "hey mama" Nika responded hugging her. but while she hugged her she side eyed me, sorr of saying 'pls help me'

i covered my mouth and shortly laughed before Taylor pulled away. "what's.. she doing here..?" Taylor asked Nika as she looked me up and down again.

"MJ is here because her roommate kicked her out for the night and i told she could come here" Nika sort of lied. "oh.. okay.. but can she leave now?" Taylor asked Nika giving her puppy dog eyes.

Nika rolled her eyes and looked at me. "sorry, Mimi." Nika mouthed. "you'll be okay?" i mouth back to her. she nodded. "okayy bye Nika, love youu" i added the last part to make Taylor jealous and i turned around after seeing nika smile and wave at me.

*end of flashback*

i sighed as i remembered her girlfriend hating the song, and thinking about how much better i was then her girlfriend.

i mean, c'mon. me and nika are like the same person. we have the same music tastes, we say the same things, act the same, talk the same, dress the same, literally do everything the same.
but Taylor doesn't like me, and nika doesn't either, atleast not in the way i want her to.

i think about how i know everything about Nika, from how her parents and family are, everything about where and how she grew up, i mean, i badically know her whole story.

but it'll never be me. it'll always be Taylor.
