The cold crisp air from my AC hits my face. I'm going to miss Arizona, but I miss my dad more. I haven't seen him in two whole years. Bella's been up there, having her "personal time". Finally, it's my turn. Bella is a senior, I'm a freshman. Bella doesn't talk to me that much, she's older, more "mature". I talk to my dad on the phone once every week. I'm probably closer with him than she is, even though I haven't seen him in forever. Bella keeps to herself, I know she likes Arizona better, but I think Forks is good for her. She's made more friends there than ever before. Mom said she has a boyfriend too. I hope when I move up there I will get a boyfriend.
I open my blinds. The sun beams in. It's so early yet already so hot. I'm not going to miss it one bit. I look around the room. My posters are all gone and some of my decorations were moved and packed. My room looked bare. I was a more punky kid. I like rock music and wear darker clothes, my hair is dyed with green strands through it. I do my makeup almost everyday, smokey eyes and dark lips. Bella is either jealous or absolutely hates it. My dad loves my style, we both listen to the same country songs. Everyone has to listen to the country at least once in their lives, or you're missing out. I'm leaving my acceptance letter on my wall. It was for the dance school that I went to, from second grade, all the way to eighth grade. Angalin Swan, acceptance to Dance Academy of Phoenix. My mom will like keeping it. To remind her of me. Sometimes she forgets about me and only thinks about Bella. I don't mind, sometimes I like not having attention or someone prying me with questions.
I put on the outfit I set out last night. An oversized shirt with a pair of ripped jeans. I didn't do my makeup because I'm traveling, who wears makeup when they travel? I put on my high top converse, my glasses and the ring my dad bought me a few years ago. I grab my satchel bag and put my book in it. I do one last sweep of my room, to make sure I don't leave anything. My room is bare, too bare. I had many decorations, many of which are now gone. I noticed a cd on the floor for Evanescence. I put it in my satchel before heading out of my room to the kitchen. "Morning." I say to my mom's husband. "Ready to go?" He asked back. "Yeah, I guess." I shrug and grab a banana and bar and head to the car. My mom is already in the car? Maybe she had plans and wanted to hurry? I get in the back seat. The car starts and we begin the journey to the airport.

I wake up to the pilot of the plane speaking on the intercom. I pack my bag and begin to stand up. I waited for people to leave before I got up to get my carry on. I left the plane. Even though I was inside, I could still smell the fresh crisp Washington air. I got my 2 suitcases, which I almost didn't get in time. I begin walking towards the exit. I look around for my dad. I see his hat farther down. I begin walking faster in his direction. When I get close enough I drop my bags and run into his arms. He pulls me into a deep hug. "I've missed you so much!" I say, still in his embrace. "I've missed you too, Angel." He said pulling back to see my face. My favorite nickname, Angel. He calls me Angel because of my name Angalin, angel, get it? He walks over and grabs my suitcases, I grab my carry on and we head out the door. He walks over to the car, I see Bella in the passenger. I open the door behind her and sit down. "Hi Bella!" I say putting my seatbelt on. "Hi." Dad got in the car after putting my bags in the trunk. We were in his police car, the only car he owned.
I knew that the drive was going to be long and quiet.
