My alarm clock rang in my ear. It's Monday, the first day of school. It's been one week since I came here. The same almost everyday. I wake up, take a walk, paint, draw and sing. Everyday, all day. I'm not complaining though. I haven't made any friends yet, I know I will though, sooner or later. I get out of bed walking to the bathroom, Bella's in there. Of course she is. I don't hate my sister. I love her, but she always gets in my way and makes me feel like the problem. It wasn't always like that. We used to be really close, closer than you could even fathom. However, people change, even people who spend their entire lives with one another can drift apart.

I rummage through my tiny closet pulling out my old converse, a pair of distressed black jeans, and my favorite long sleeved v-neck top. I look amazing, as usual. Since it's the first day, I have to make a statement, I do my classic dark eye with a bold red lip. I grab my favorite satchel bag. I brush my long hair and pull it into a low messy bun. I grab my phone and laptop and head downstairs. Dad never really had much food, snacks and occasional meals, but not much. A banana, the perfect breakfast. "Morning." He says as he trudged down the stairs. "Morning, I'm nervous." I tell him pealing my banana. "Don't be, Bells with help you." Yeah, no she won't. Bella will probably leave me alone to find all my classes and I'll end up lost. Speak of the devil. "Hey dad. Edward's driving me today. Can you drive Angalin?" Dad looked at her and frowned. "I asked you to do it, I can't. Can't she just ride with you and Edward?" Bella looked at me and made a face, I like to call it her resting bitch face. "Fine." She says walking away.

What a lovely sister. Boy am I lucky to have her. Her boy toy pulls up, fast and aggressively. His car is clean and cold. He doesn't look happy to see me but not mad either, neutral almost? The school isn't too far from us. A good 10 minutes at most. He speeds so probably 5. "Why do you drive so fast?" I ask finally breaking the awkward silence. "So I can get to where I'm going." He says almost annoyed. "Jeez grumpy." I say in my usual sarcastic mood. "Angalin? Really?" I look up to the front seat. "What? I'm very funny Bella." I say again, sarcastically. I swore Bella said something under her breath. She usually does, especially around me. I have great hearing. I can see why he likes her, same bitchy personalities. I thought to myself, but I swore Edward was glaring at me the whole time.

The ride ended abruptly as we pull into the big high school parking lot. When I step out, I feel eyes on me. I'm new meat. They don't usually get knew people around here. Bella was the last new person they had, before me. I'm everyone's new chew toy. Bella and Edward walk over to a group of blondes and brunettes who all have very pale skin. They look like Edward. Creepy. I follow them not knowing where else to go. "Go somewhere else." Bella tells me. "Where exactly?" She scoffs. "Hi! You must be Angalin! Bella told me you were coming. I'm really excited to see you." A girl with short brown hair says as she walks up to me. "Oh, hi." She smiles and takes my hand. "I have a feeling will be great friends, I'm Alice by the way." She very perky, it's odd. The others look at me, weird looks. The one boy, Jasper, Alice tells me, looks scared. Apparently, Edward, Alice, Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, are all adopted siblings. It shows.

The beginning of the day was horrible. Bella took me to the wrong class. Eventually I found it. I'm at lunch now. The best class. I'm sitting with these 2 people from my calculs class. They seem really nice. Katy and Sasha. "So, I was thinking this weekend we should downtown and look for homecoming dresses." Sasha said while writing down notes from calc class. "School just started." I say. Isn't it too early to buy homecoming dresses yet? "Angy, here we have to buy things soon before they're all gone. That's how forks works." Katy chimes in. I nod and look around the cafeteria. It's big. Yet empty. There's a table of boys, they're loud. Very loud. There's also a table of girls who are doing their makeup. Great scholars. "So how do you like forks so far?" "Any cute guys?" They both add. "Oh, I like it here, I grew up here with my dad, and no, no boys." They looked surprised that I lived here before, I'm not totally new. "Who's your dad?" "Charlie, chief of police." They smile. "Yeah, we know him, everyone does, he's a really nice guy." I smile and nod in agreement. I love my dad, he's probably the best dad ever. At least I think that. Bella, well, she would say something else.

I meet Bella outside after school. She waits for her Edward who is also our drive home, or drive to the diner. Since it's the first day dad is taking us to the diner for dinner. I miss going to the diner. It used to be my favorite place. The ride there was quite, too quite. He pulls into the very full parking lot. Me and Bella get out and head inside and see our dad at his usual table by the window. He orders his usual meal, I go for a burger and fries, aka my usual. Bella got a salad or whatever. Boys were making a ruckus outside the window, taunting Bella. "Your first day? Was it good?" He asked looking and me. "Yeah, I think I made two friends, Katy and Sasha." He smiled then looked at Bella who was zoning out. "You alright Bells?" She looked at him and just nodded.

The ride home in his cop car was relaxing. I had my music playing and zoned out everyone else. "Is it okay if we stop by Billy's?" Dad asks halfway home. I think it's okay, I like visiting family friends. "Can you drop me off at Edward's?" Bella's asks. Dad looks at her and frowns. "I guess if you really want too." Bella smiles and so we drop her off at Edward's. On our way back to Billy's it's quiet. I like quiet and dad knows that. We arrive at Billy's. There's a truck out front I've never seen before. We head inside to see some boys sitting on the floor with Jacob playing a game and Billy came over to us. "Hey there guys. Angalin, do you want to go play with the boys? I'm sure they love to let you play." I smile and say sure, Billy and dad leave the room to talk about something. I'm stilling wearing what I wore to school. My hair is more messy and my makeup is smearing. "Hey Angalin!" Jacob says as I sit down at the open part of the circle. That's when I see all the boys faces. There's one boy who looks my age who hasn't seen me yet. But something about him. Was intriguing.
