Glorioso Liondaias sighed as he stared outside of his carriage into the vast open field of green, his sword the Song of Gold laid in his lap. He rested his head on his fist. His hair was long and golden, and his face chiseled and strong. He was a handsome prince, who if people from our world saw him, would claim he resembled a youthful Julius Caesar with longer hair. He was wondering why he was coming . He had trained with his sword for years, but his father claimed he needed to learn other skills. He could create a tornado with his sword for Holidanis's sake! What else did he have to learn? He decided to look outside, to take his mind off things. He saw an endless field, worked on by peasants.

He watched as the peasants worked on the fields, gathering large amounts of wheat and other plants that would be eaten by the thankless nobility or would be pillaged by monsters. It was sad but he couldn't do much for it, for if he did, the noble bureaucrats would wield their stamps and sign papers to remove him off the line of succession and pick their own sycophant to be a king. He hated that but all he could do at the moment was just suck it up and wait to be king. Oh, the plans he had when that day came! He would kick the corrupt nobility to the street and redistribute their wealth to that poor. Then he would have all the monsters that were attacking killed as a warning to others. It would be a glorious day for everyone, well, except the rotten aristocrats and monsters. He took a closer look at the peasants.

They were thrifty and hardworking, yet worked to the point of rags and starvation. They looked more like scarecrows than actual people, their clothes torn and their skinny builds exposed. They all looked beaten down with their lot in life, and who could blame them? If Glorioso was in their shoes he would be depressed all the time too. It hurt to think about. He loved his father but here he was just sitting on his throne and letting these people rot and be attacked due to his fear of being impeached. It wasn't fair...

"Sir, your biscuits are getting cold." Glorioso snapped out of his little trance as his butler spoke up. Aeldari, or just Al for short, a handsome looking, long haired Aerolin around his 20's, was his name. Aerolins were a short lived species that were basically a mix between an elf, like those in the works of Tolkien, and bees. They had black and yellow striped skin, golden hair, and rather than what Aeldari would have called "Junk in the Trunk" like a bee, his stinger was located in his arm. It came out from the underside of his right hand, and contained a stinging venom. Aerolins were one of the first species to mingle with humans and as such they were very close. They made a very special kind of syrup, Yalf, that came from their fingertips that was extremely sweet. They would sell it and it would be made into candies. It was quite addicting however, and thus it was regulated heavily, to the point only high ranking nobles could buy it legally.

"Oh, sorry Al, was drifting off again." Aeldari have served him some Yalf biscuits on a plate, which was Glorioso's favorite food. He looked at it, noticing his glow, which gave off the appearance of melted gold. He thanked his loyal butler and took a large bite. He felt the honey like liquid fill his mouth and moaned in delight. He moved on to the next one as he scarfed the first one down. The Yalf made him think happy thoughts. Such as back when he and his family went to the plains of Kilaueea, to have a simple picnic.

The birds flew through the sky as the wind blew gently, making Glorioso smile warmly. His mother Henrietta was humming to her self while she knitted. His father, Honoridas, was just watching the day go by. They both had golden blonde hair and wore a blue dress and a blue tunic respectively. Honoridas preferred to dress as a simple noble rather than a king. He was a humble, gentle man, who some felt didn't have the will to be a king. He was a kind ruler but lacked the ability to be harsh when he needed to, nor was he any good at settling a dispute between two parties.

That being said, Glorioso wasn't exactly confident he could be a good king. He had always had a fear of not being able to live up to expectations to people like his grandfather. His grandfather lead a charge against the forces of shadow for Liondos sake! He took them off their homes and sent them marching back to the dark islands they came from!

Glorioso later came back to earth, and then noticed he had been thinking for a while. Gladion Academy was in front of his carriage window! It was massive, looking more like a holy cathedral than a school. Its white towers stood tall, almost as tall as a mountain. The main building towered above the rest of the towers, and was far wider. It was beautiful. Glorioso was an avid fan of architecture so he quite enjoyed what he saw, as did his Aerolin butler.

"Well Aeldari, looks like this is goodbye." Glorioso said, some sadness present in his voice. The Aerolin chuckled and shook his head, smiling. "Oh no, master, I'll still be here. Your father's orders. Besides, who else would fold your beloved Hephaestus socks?" Hephaestus was a general who Glorioso idolized, even though he in public considered wearing merchandise of someone to be unbecoming. "Or keep your... other voices in check." Aeldari added, moving forward. Glorioso growled. He had a certain.... Quirk known as the Multivoice, which we'll get to later. Glorioso wasn't proud of that, but thankfully it was a secret known only to the royal family and their highest ranking servants,. Thankfully no one was around to hear, something both of them knew. Aeldari just liked making Glorioso angry as he enjoyed the face he made, like that of a sullen child.

The snapping of heels alerted them back to reality. A 7 foot tall woman began approaching them. She was a Bokol, which were tall reptilian like humanoids with cobra like hoods. This one had red scales, was rather slender yet had wide hips, and was fairly buxom and leggy. She wore a nice red robe, common for a school administrator, as well as a pair of glasses. She gave off an aura of professionalism and lawfulness. She gave a polite bow at the prince and his butler. "Greetings your majesty. I am Lady Amelia Fallon, and I'm the Vice Principal of Gladion Academy. Follow me please." With that, she turned around.

Glorioso looked over at Aeldari, and then at Amelia, before following the Bokol administrator.
