It was the first day of my senior year in high school! I was excited to see my friends but most of all I was excited to see my boyfriend of 4 years Rory Cook. Even if we had talked over the phone all summer it was different than seeing him in person. I walked into the building heading into my homeroom class. As I walked into class I saw my childhood best friend Alex Morgan.
"Hey, Alex!" I exclaimed walking over to his seat to hug him. "June! I didn't know you were in this class!" Alex said, sounding a bit surprised. We talked for a while until we heard the bell ring. Once the bell rang I rushed over to my seat as I waited for our homeroom teacher to start introducing himself as well as go over the same old procedures that we've known since freshman year.
I watched the time like a hawk waiting for the bell to ring so I could book it to my first elective which was band so I could see Rory again. As soon as we were dismissed I was one of the first people out of the room.
I rushed down the stairs and into the elective hall, and as soon as I made it to the band room I saw Rory standing there looking at something on his sleeve. I ran straight at him giving him a huge hug like every year.
