Introduction (1)

Hey there.
This is a choose-your-own-adventure book! (if you couldn't tell from the title.)
The reader will be referred using they/them for obvious reasons.

Here's the basic rundown on how the book works.
Every page or so, there will be an option to do an action. To do an action, you will need to go to the page where the action tells you to go. Here's an example in case you're confused.

The path you are walking on splits into two different paths. Do you wish to go left, or right?
left: go to page 4
right: go to page 7

If you want to go left, you would go to the fourth "page" or part in this book. The same rule applies if you would want to turn right, except you would go to page seven. Hope you understand.

Be careful making decisions, as your choices lead to different endings, one of which includes the death ending! This occurs often during encounters with the Night Coalition.

This will be updated fairly slowly, so expect infrequent updates. I don't exactly have a plot worked out yet.... so yeah.
Shit, I might abandon the project halfway through, but i'll try to stay as active as I can.
I will try to work my way into a schedule of one upload per week. (Keep in mind this means an additional chapter for ALL active paths.)

Since this book will be released through updates and not in its entirety, there will be choice paths that have not been written yet. In the event that this happens, there will be an empty page with the phrase "chapter in the making! please come back later..." on the page. When this happens, either try another path, or wait for the next book update. These chapters will sometimes have a rough approximation for their release date.
Chapters that are finished will have the word (COMPLETE) in their title, next to their page number. Every time i finish making a chapter, I will update the title, so come back every now and then to check for updates on paths! Please be patient with me concerning my update schedule. I have trouble focusing on one thing for extended periods of time, so this may slow the waiting process down considerably. I will try my best to update weekly, but I may not be able to keep my word. I'll work my way into a schedule that works for me as soon as possible :)

Additional stuff:

This book is written both platonically and romantically. This means that there will be options to keep platonic relationships between yourself and the operatives, but there is also options to make romantic relationships between the operatives (though attempts to go down these paths are sorta difficult...) as well.
