It's funny to see that while you are  In the rhythmic pursuit, a cup of coffee becomes the maestro,A sprinting waltz, where coffee leads the show,A spill, a cascade, a coffee ballet,
Stains on the fabric, a tale of the day. But in my case it wasn't me on whom the coffee fell on, it was a stranger. It fell on his shirt and maybe on a gift which the coffee might have ruined and if that gift costs a fortune I cannot afford to give that much of money.

here I myself am running late for an interview and praying to get this job to pay off my rents it's my only hope. Before I could think what to say or explain myself there is a tight slap on my face in front of people in the busy streets of New York.

That slap silenced everything in the surroundings nor could I hear the man shouting at me nor the horns it felt as if the world went blank and that slap popped my skull to give me a reality check that I can no longer be like this and I have to act serious and pay off my bills.

Instead of standing up for myself I stood there and cried and from the action of the man it looked as if he was ready to hit me again. Before I could again think of what to do I see another hand up in the air But it wasn't the man's it was someone else,

A man taking stand for me isn't what I expected even though he looked handsome but that wasn't the show to see he looked up at me crying and he slapped the man in front of me he took him and bashed his face to the car which left a dent on the car next up I see him crashing the man's head inside of a street light. The man almost looked dead,I was horrified after seeing these things it felt as if the past came back and the history repeated. That guy let the man go and the man ran for his life.

Instead of being thankful to the guy or saying something good all I said was, "Was it necessary to be that violent?"
He looked in confusion at me and answered not something I would expect anyone to say, " it's at least better than crying in the corner and not standing up for yourself."
I was taken aback hearing that, "I was not in the state to do so or else I would have taken a stand and by the way thank you for the help."

I turned back and moved on my way until I hear him telling me,"taking a stand for yourself isn't enough taking action is important."
All I said was,"I definitely am not a violent person like you."
He politely came towards me and said," sometimes violence is what helps you gain things and the solution to your problems."
I certainly did not agree with what he said,"sometimes violence makes you lose things, just the way I lost my parents,my happiness,my life,my will to live just because of violence."
He sounded so dumb saying this ,"

well if you lost these things to violence why don't you try to gain some good things with violence."
He definitely doesn't understand things the way I do I guess the wrong guy helped me.he went on and started introducing himself," well nevermind that I'm Yash Chopra by the way and you are ?"
"I'm Anika Patel."
"Nice to meet you, what brings you here to New York?"
"My parents, I've lived my whole life in New York, my parents owned a factory here."
"That must mean you are definitely Rich, I mean your parents would have left things for you at least."
"Hah, well you wish so my parents died saving that factory, the wealth and everything we had."
"How so?"
"It's a long story that will take forever ."
"It's alright I have forever".

Was I supposed to blush on that or was it normal or was he trying to flirt with me or was it just the way he talks. "Are you trying to flirt with me?"
He looked weirdly at me with a confused look and said," seriously why would I flirt with you, you are not even my type, you are one of those depressed girl who goes with the flow of things how ever they are you don't even try to change it and don't even take a stand for yourself.   And I don't do relationships I do one night stands and girls drool over me, you look like a long term relationship type of girl."

Was that an embarrassment for me or was it just being normal and him having very peculiar choices but  honestly he never said anything wrong about me in those little words he explained to me ," okay, embarrassing me wasn't that necessary, I'll tell you that story some other day I'm running late for an interview."
He smirked," so you don't even have a job ?"

I don't understand the need for him to smirk but anyway,"why does it bother you,if you let me go I'll probably get one."

He replied,"well if you don't,you are welcome to come to the office of Oracle company I'll get you a job there."

I was shocked and confused by the amount of confidence he said that with and trying to give me assurance , because there is no way I'm getting a job in one of the biggest company of New York owned by Raj Chopra.
"How can you say that with such confidence?"
"My dad owns that company and that company is partially mine."
Why am I so dumb why didn't I realise they both share the same surname. I never really thought the son of Raj Chopra who is one of the biggest entrepreneur and a highly respected man with huge prestige, would look like this so violent and dumb and a Playboy.

"Oh,I don't know what to say uhm I'd like that but first I'd like to try my best to get a job where I have an interview today."
He smiled,"Sure, but if you don't we'd like you to join our company here take my number."
right at that exact moment i wanted to accept that offer a get a job in Oracle it would certainly have a high pay check but I’d look very greedy for money, I took his number and later on thanked him once again and i ran to the subway not exactly showing him how late i am for my interview.

I reach the the office, didn't expect so many people to be around and everyone in eager to get the job. I sit down in one of the free chairs and start prepping for the interview while I am sitting I see a guy with a cup of coffee in his  hand in formal wear. Man I swear guys in formal wear just Hit different l. He sat in the seat in front of me and started talking to the guy beside him and laughing, his smile is enough for any girl to fall in love with him. My turn for the interview came I went in and answered their questions and they accepted me and were ready to give an advance  paycheck. Right then and there I couldn't decide what to choose a job here paying $1200 or a job at Oracle. But I choose to work for this company.
"I took a job for a damn stranger."
