Yash's Pov

I got out of there and went down to search for those guys I felt a range of anger and fear that if something happens again in this house to anyone ever again Anika can't handle living here anymore.

I see those guys in the room downstairs.

Me-put your hands up I've called the cops.
Them-who are you?
Me-that doesn't matter ,you have invaded my privacy
Them-oh well what can you do about it.
Me-im warning you get out of here and never come back.
Then-what if we don't take the warning seriously.

I took the vase from the table on my right side and hit it on one of  the guy's head and he falls down, the other guy comes from the back and pushes me off.
"How dare you motherfu****." I shout
Both the guys  pounce on me, I hit one of them with my leg and punch the other one on his face

The thief with a wiry figure with a cocky grin, made the first move, lunging forward with a swift punch aimed at my midsection. But I sidestepped the blow, countering with a precise jab to the thief's ribs. A grunt of pain escaped the thief's lips as they staggered back, momentarily off balance.

Meanwhile, the second thief, a shadowy figure lurking in the periphery, seized the opportunity to strike. With silent steps, they circled around, aiming to catch me off guard. But I was alert, my senses heightened by the adrenaline coursing through their veins. They spun around just in time to block the flurry of punches raining down upon them, each blow reverberating through their arms but failing to break their resolve.

At last I could catch both of them and hand them over to the police.
I went on top to check on Anika hoping she would be fine, I opened the door and she lay down there crying.

Me- Anika why are you crying?
Anika- Yash I don't know if I can take it anymore, is this house really unlucky.
Me-Anika stop with this bullshit, everything is fine you are fine, the thieves are gone.
Anika- But I'm scared now
Me- Do you want me to stay tonight with you ?
Anika- if u can then fine or else i won't force.
Me- hey, it's fine tomorrow morning i'm going to install special locks so no one can break in ok.
Anika- thank you so much for all this Yash.

I carried her carefully to the bed and put her on the bed, fear in her eyes was clear. I put her head on my lap and tried to calm her down. The night went by peacefully without any interruption. I couldn't keep my eyes off Anika she looked so pretty while sleeping. I wish I could look at her daily like this.
