"Sagar?" exclaimed Sidharth in surprise
ignoring Sidharth, Sagar rushed inside leaving him like a dumbfounded tiger cub
"what just happened?" muttered Sidharth to himself
"MA! MA!..." screamed Sagar furiously leaving everyone in the house bewildered
startled by Sagar's scream Anjali paced towards living room
"Sagar!!" exclaimed Anjali with excitement
she affectionately took Sagar in her arms
after a couple of moments
Sagar released himself from his mother's grip and spoke
"Ma, you don't love me anymore"
"what made you think like that Sagar"
"you... you didn't tell me that you fainted yesterday instead Aaru told me about it or else I wouldn't know about it anymore"
"Sagar I did so because I don't want to bother you with much stress you are already dealing with enough being a doctor"
"then why didn't anyone tell me about it except Aaru?"
"I myself took a promise from everyone to not tell you, and Aaru is not there when I did so..."
"Ma! why do I think you as a burden? do you think me as an outsider? of course, I'm not your own son but still You matter to me more than my late mom"
"Sagar! what are you even talking about? you, Sidharth, Aarushi and Vikram are all equal to me! don't you dare talk like that again or I'll never talk to you again!"
"MA! I'm sorry I said so because you didn't inform me about your health, don't do it again ma, please it really hurts me"

and then Anjali and Sagar gave each other a warm hug, seeing this the rest of the family members watched them adorably"
"hmm... I'm here itself Ma! you forgot about me didn't you?" uttered Sidharth with jealousy
awed by his jealousy Anjali pulled Sidharth into a hug
"by the way where are Aarushi and Vikram?" questioned Sagar
"they were up till it was 2 o clock playing" replied Ashok
facepalms Sagar
everybody giggles for his action
"okay Ma let me prepare lunch for everyone" announced Sagar
"I'll help you Sagar" said Ashok
"then, what in the world should I do?" asked Sidharth
"Swat the flies off" replied Sagar
"you! wait right there!" warned Sidharth and haunted Sagar with Broom
Sagar was running everywhere around the house while Sidharth chasing him around left Ashok and Anjali in awe
due to the chaos, Aarushi and Vikram woke up and joined the others in the living room
watching their elder brothers playing made them joyful
noticing Aarushi and Vikram, Sidharth and Sagar stopped fighting
"Aaru, Vicky (Vikram) go and fresh up your Sagar bhaiya (brother) is going to make you lunch" announced Ashok
Aarushi danced in joy and Vikram screamed with excitement and went for getting ready
"Sagar, you make curries, I'll prepare biryani rice" said Ashok
"then I'll hep Sagar in making curries" said Sidharth
"done" replied Sagar
"then how about a competition?" asked Anjali, "I'll rate your foods along with Aaru and Vicky while eating and for now I'll check if you are doing any malpractices in the prep" said Anjali
"YES! and I'm gonna win" said Ashok "we'll contest individually"
*time skip*
"Andddd Ladies and gentle man, here's the scorecard of the three contestants, Mrs. Anjali will now announce the winner" said Aaru
the three men stood there nervously and waited curiously for the results
finally after a moment,
Anjali revealed the winner; it's none other than SAGAR
after a joyous celebration and feast, the family enjoyed after a long time by playing together trying to improve Anjali's mental condition
Vivaan's pov:
... and that's how I lost my parent's in an accident when i was merely one day
"I'm.. sorry for your loss but how do you know all this?" asked Brunda sitting in front of me in a restaurant
"the people who witnessed the incident described it to the orphanage in charge and she told me about it when I grew up to 12 or so" replied Sagar
"by the way why did you ask me out?" asked Brunda
"well, I wanted to know you better, and I kinda have feelings for you" said Vivaan
"woah! that was fast, why did you not take some time to understand your feelings better?"
see, once our heart feels a strong connection with someone, and you feel sure about it, you shouldn't delay expressing your feelings
