The warmth of his blanket wraps his entire body, as he gets up to see a certain person right next to his bed, with the description of that certain person being a stage director.
Gently sighing, Tsukasa then grabbed a nearby book that he has put aside from his bed for this moment. Him and Rui were partnered to study the content of the book titled: " Intertwined Lilies " , and also was challenged to do a little roleplay of it. And because the two didn't have any time to do so when they were at school, Rui decided to just visit the blonde.
☆ · “ And now that we are together for this project, we must focus and take in every detail. Not joke around like making another invention. ”
Rui, clearly showing a face that he has found another sly way of teasing — instantly replied back, his trademark smugness intentionally being slipped out his tongue.
☾ · “ Calm down, Tsukasa-kun. We're both at home, so there's no need to be that much of a obedient disciplinary committee member. ”
The blonde sighs.
☆ · “ It doesn't matter with those excuses of us not being in school. You must focus too. Don't you want good grades? ”
☾ · “ The academic failure does scare me, yet, maybe focusing on this doesn't matter to me; as long as there's something better to focus on.. Like you, Tsukasa-kun. ”
☆ · “ Ugh, stop. ”
☾ · “ My my, I'm just giving one sweet compliment. Does the star of Wonderlands × Showtime not want any of them? ”
☆ · “ It's not like I don't accept them.. i do like the attention, especially yours — it's just that we should put that aside for now, Rui.. We need professionalism here. ”
☾ · “ Jeez, so boring. At least be more fun for our own entertainment, don't be scared. Friends are meant to entertain themselves even whilst even in projects, but it seems like I have expected quite a lot from you.. Fufu. ”
The director's face then turns into a fond smile, his eyes directly onto Tsukasa's presence while patting his head gently, as he spoke up with a voice gentler and sweeter than before.
☾ · “ Still, that's alright. I won't pressure Tsukasa-kun to be the so-called ideal friend. Just as long as you're you and won't detach, I will cherish our bond with each moment. ”
A smile then appeared on Tsukasa's face as he hears that, following with a laugh that came out his mouth. That laugh was noticeably different than the usual ones he makes, or just a rarely gentle laugh. hearing that from the star, it feels different; like an achievement.
☆ · “ Ah ah, now now. Don't make me smile just as fondly.. It's time to study, wahaha! ”
Almost like he just got out from dozing off, the alchemist had some moment of realization before gently smiling again.
☾ · “ Thanks for reminding, by the way. Almost forgot what situation I was currently in.. ”
☆ · “ Oh? then, you're absolutely welcome! Sooo, heading on out now for this book! You have your copy that Teach gave us for this? ”
☾ · “ Yes, it's over here. Right beside me. ”
Rui then grabbed a slightly thick book, that was the copy of intertwined lilies.
☆ · “ Then make yourself comfortable, Rui. This book's story will be long, so I guess we're going to read one half today, then the other at a time for tomorrow.. ”
☾ · “ Yes sir. ”
☆ · “ Hey! Aren't you the director? Then direct me in the direction of what shall I do! ”
☾ · “ " Tsukasa " means director in some way, my star. So this time, you have to be the director. I mean, you have taken lead of what shall we do for this study ever since earlier. ”
☆ · “ It doesn't matter!! You're smarter! ”
☾ · “ No. you're such a smart one, Tsukasa-kun. Let me be your follower as you lead me to what is said to be the light. ”
Teasing each other follows, before the voice of Tsukasa's mother sweetly saying to study instead of goofing around in that room was heard in both of their ears a few minutes later. That instantly got them to behave.
☆ · “ ... Ueeh. should've just listened to me and directed like usual .. ”
☾ · “ Such a bad move you just did, Tsukasa-kun. ”
Going up on his bed again, surrounding himself in his blanket, draping it on his shoulders. The director also joins in whilst adjusting themselves in the warmth of the fabric a little bit, seemingly also wanting to be in some warm comfort zone with the star right beside him.
☆ · “ Alright. Now is the time our story begins! ”
And then that voice fades, with a state that has a sensation of going into a new chapter.
