Alas! The Chimera shall become thy friend or foe, yet to be known

Bethought upon the midst of probable oblivion, to be like Sisyphus

Remains in utter disdain, to fulfill thy essence that befalls mankind.

The Chimera remains true by men greater and lesser alike, it does not

Yield nor trembles against the false hopes of fellow believers.

Greater men at their means comes forth to knock at the doors of the Chimera;

Alas! I beseech you my fellow seekers! Seekers of the Serpent!

For it shall lie beyond your will to desire, the Chimera shall give birth

To the Sphinx, and this creature shall lead theeto the Serpent!

Lesser men with their frail deeds and fearful avoidance,

Let it be known to them, for they who separate themselves

From the Chimera, shall be the mindless wanderers of the earth.

Behold! Greater men at their ends, shall not be defiled by doubt!

Nor can they be conquered by the Chimera, for the Chimera is already

Within their fierce passionate heart, they do not fear nor yield before

The Chimera as they too knows well, by their ego and will.

Shall emerge from their soul is the Chimera, against the virtues of man.

Behold! The Chimera lies within the soul of man! For man can be its

Slave or master, he who is ignorant to his soul shall become slave

Of the Chimera! Thou art the bright sun that casts its shadows behind

The dark side of man, Alas! The Greater man shall entreat the Chimera!

To be mankind's Prometheus! Let thy soul be set ablaze by the Chimera!

Let thy passion seek the Serpent! For thy Chimera shall give birth the Sphinx!
