"Did you know about the 'event' on Friday?"
"What event?" I asked, stupid question.
"You know the one where the kids choose their favorite animatronic and one of them gets to do a day with them?" Moon explained.
I cussed under my breath. We're open that day meaning we are 'up for grabs' in the kids eyes. And also the little kids will be in the daycare won't be too happy about the kerfuffle.
Moon waved in my face, snapping me back to reality. "Sun? You okay?" Moon asked.
"I'm going to need help at the daycare that day." I say much more blunt than I intended.
"Oh, okay... You can ask Eclipse, and I can help out too, but you know what I'm like with kids." Moon offered.
"Heh... Yeah. That would be helpful though." I thanked.
"So..." Moon stood there awkwardly.
"Yeah imma go ahead and ask now." I mentioned before walking back up to the room.
"Eclipse..?" I walked around a bit looking for the solar animatronic. When I heard a gasp drawing me closer walking cautiously towards the sound.
"Eclipse?" I peek in the door to see the slightly panicked animatronic.
"Are you alright?" I asked simply.
Eclipse nodded. He was avoiding my gaze. I go to crouch down next to him.
"You aren't looking to convincing. Are you sure? We can talk If you want." I continued.
He hugged me softly. Tears rolling down his face.
"O-oh!" I gasp, I rubbed his back to console him. "Do you want to talk about it?"
He shook his head no, "alright, changing the topic. Would you be okay with helping me and Moon out in the daycare?" I asked.
"Sure!" He exclaimed. He was too happy for this moment. I just hugged him a bit tighter. We stayed like this for a moment when finally Eclipse pulled away. His expression changed from cheerful to a uncomfortable and worried one.
"Eclipse?" I asked.
"I love you." He stated, this was a strange thing to mention at this time.
"I love you too. Are you okay?" I asked, suspicious of what Eclipse would say next.
"I- I... Nevermind, I'm sorry for scaring you." He mentioned.
I just got increasingly worried, "Eclipse... You can talk to me."
"I know." Was the only thing I could hear him say before he walked to the balcony. Taking the wire and jumping down.
"Eclip... se" I tried to call out before he jumped down but he had already gone and started to clean up the daycare.
What is happening? Is he okay? I'm so confused, why... Many things ran through my head, that was until Moon burst through the door making me jolt up. Moon walked out and tried again.
"Sorry... Can I come in?" Moon asked this time.
"Yeah" I mentioned.
"Sun... Are you okay? What happened between you and Eclipse?" Moon asked.
I paused to think for a moment. "I'm fine." I began. "I'm confused too." I admitted laughing nervously.
"What happened?" He asked again.
"I- I don't know..." I look up at my brother with a flash of worry in my eyes. "Moon, I'm scared..."
