Paul POV.

I woke up to birds chirping. I was in a room that I didn't recognize at first because it wasn't mine. I looked over to my right and saw Olivia sleeping in a chair. At that moment everything came back to me. I was in Emily's guest room. I was injured by a vampire last night. I sat up a little and moved to brush some hair out of Olivia's face. She shifted a little and groaned. Her eyes slowly opened and it took her a moment to see that I was awake.

"Hey." I mumbled. I ran my thumb over her tear stained cheek.

I could tell the second everything caught up to her. Her eyes shot opened and she launched herself into my arms. "You're ok." She breathed. I instantly wrapped my arms around her as well.

"I'm ok." I mumbled into her hair. She started shaking a little.

"I thought he killed you." She sobbed.

"He didn't." I pushed her away a little so I could see her face. "I'm ok, you're ok. We both survived. We all survived."

She nodded and sank back into my embrace. We stayed like that for a while, both of us just enjoying the peacefulness.

"You lied." She mumbled after a while.

"Hm?"

She pulled back a bit. "You lied. You said no one would get hurt. But you got hurt."

"But I also said I would make sure no one got hurt and no one else did."

"You also said that we would be celebrating." She is really trying to pick a fight.

"I can't tell the future Olivia."

She huffed and leaned back on me. "Then don't make promises you can't keep."

"Touché"

We stayed like that for a while. I thought she had fallen asleep until she sat up and moved to sit on the bed. "I should probably get you some food." She stood up, "you did miss dinner last night." She moved to leave but I grabbed her hand. "Paul, I need to get you someth-" I cut her off with a kiss.

"Stay." I mumbled against her lips. She opened her mouth to argue again but I cut her off with a kiss. I pulled her into my lap so she was straddling me. I moved down her neck to her collar bone, leaving a trail of kisses. I made my way back to her mouth and she instantly kissed back.

Jared POV.

It was the morning after the battle and we had all been asked to meet back at Emily's. I walked through the door and made my way to the kitchen. I was about to grab a muffin when I got smacked by Emily.

"Go upstairs and make sure that Olivia and Paul are awake. I haven't seen them since last night. I'm starting to get worried."

I sighed. "Fine." I slowly made my way upstairs and I stopped outside the door. I didn't hear anything and that should have been enough for me to walk away and say they were still sleeping. But no I had to open the door. What I saw I will never be able to unsee.

I didn't say anything. I just closed the door and walked back downstairs.

"Are they awake?" Emily asked.

"Yup." I mumbled.

"Well are they coming downstairs?"

"I don't know. I didn't ask." I sat down at the table and grabbed a muffin.

"Well I'll go let them know that breakfast is ready." She turned off the stove.

"I wouldn't do that."

"Why not?" Embry asked, sitting down and taking a sip of water.

"They're sharing saliva." Embry spat out his drink and started laughing. Emily blushed a little and went back to making eggs and Sam stomped upstairs.

Olivia POV

I was still on top of Paul but I was now just laying on him. He promised that his ribs didn't hurt anymore so I wasn't worried about hurting him.

I was about to fall asleep again when the door burst open. Sam looked about ready to kill when he was us just laying on the bed.

He sighed. "Breakfast is ready." With that he turned and stomped back downstairs.

Me and Paul looked at each other and laughed. I peeled myself off him and got up. Paul followed suit and we made our way downstairs.

When we entered the kitchen and saw The pack all sitting around the table that was way too small. The two chairs that were open were on opposite sides and by the look on Jared's face I knew that was purposeful.

"Well hi." Jared said, nonchalant.

"Hi." I said, taking the seat between Jared and Embry. Paul grumbled and sat between Seth and Quil.

"Did you guys have a fun night?" Jared had a shit eating grin on his face. "Or should I say morning?"

I froze in the middle of unwrapping my muffin. He saw that? I could play this one of two ways: I could admit to making out with Paul in a guest room or I could play dumb. Both of which were bad options luckily Paul decided for us.

"You saw that?" I think this is the first time I've ever seen Paul blush. Even if it was just a little.

"Even if I didn't I would still know." Jared turned to me. "Olivia you got a little something on your neck." I pulled out my phone and sure enough there was a dark hickey on my neck. I glared at Paul from across the table.

"Really." Paul's grin matched Jared's.

"It looks good on you."

"Could you guys not do this at the table." Embry said, pretending to get sick.

We ate in silence for the rest of the meal and I continued to glare at Paul and he continued to smirk at me.
