"Wow Bhabhi! Aapne to un aunty ka moye-moye kar diya. Chehra dekha unka kaisa ho gya tha, jaise cheeni samajh kar namak kha gayi ho." Utkarsh made fun while everyone else started laughing.
(Wow Bhabhi! You have literally mocked that aunt. I saw how her face had become, as if she had eaten salt, mistaking it for sugar.)
After the function was over, all the youngsters were chatting and having fun on the terrace. Aditya and Shivansh were also there cracking some jokes.
"Even he was not less. Disha ki mummy ko alag hi disha dikha di isne." Shivansh chirped and everyone agreed. Aarohi smiled at his statement.
(He gave the entire different direction to Disha's mom.)
"But had anyone seen Dad's face? He was looking so angry. It seemed as if he would chew bhabhi raw." Isha pointed out. Nishkarsh's facial expression became serious after listening to her, which didn't go unnoticed by his wife.
"You are exaggerating, Isha. Mr. Rathore is just a little angry, not a monster." Aarohi opposed Isha's statement.
No one liked what Aarohi said, especially her husband. His friends, who were constantly looking at him, could easily see the changing expressions on his face.
"It hasn't been even two days since you came to this house, Aarohi. You neither know about the house nor about its members. That's why without knowing anyone, don't form any opinion." Her husband said in a firm voice.
"To fir aap hi mujhe bata dijiye na sab kuch." She said looking directly in his eyes.
(Then you tell me everything.)
Before anyone could say anything, Bade Papa came to the terrace. Everyone, except Aarohi, mentally thanked him for saving all of them from her question.
"It's too late, kids. Now everyone go to sleep. Especially you Aarohi, tomorrow you have to go to your house also for Pag-Phera." As if everyone was waiting to hear this, that's why as soon as he said this, everyone left from there. Aarohi was the last one to leave from there. Before she could leave, Mahendra Pratap stopped her.
(Pag phera - a ritual in which a newly wedded bride visits her maternal home for the first time after marriage, generally for a day.)
"One minute, Aarohi. I need to talk to you."
"Ji, Bade Papa."
"Don't give up so soon, beta. Give him some time. The day he will start trusting you, he will open up to you and will also share his pain that his destiny has given him." He explained to her.
"I know, Bade Papa. That's why I even promised you that I will add colour to his life again and will heal all his wounds with my love. I am eagerly waiting for that moment when he will really consider me a part of his life." She said hopefully while looking at the stars twinkling in the sky.
"I know." He said placing his hand on her head. He turned and started walking away.
"Uh Bade Papa! I am sorry for creating a scene in today's function." She apologized, her eyes cast down on shame.
