"This wasn't the fucking plan!"

"AH!" You screamed, sitting up, seeing that you were back in that house, on the floor.

You looked to see Madison and Marc standing above you, looking down worriedly at you. Marc had his arms crossed.

"He's firmly in stage three" Marc observed. "We need to stop this...before its too late and from the looks of it...it wont be long"

You got to your feet, stumbling a bit as you looked at everyone, you saw their faces, they were all scared of you.

You could see in the reflection of some glass that your infection had spread, the vines, moving like tangled strings had stopped just before your chin.

"What'd I miss?" You mumbled.

"Shetty's behind everything...she's the one that lead the experiments on you" Marie tried to calm you down.

You locked eyes with Cate, your eye twitching slightly as you couldn't stop thinking about all the ways you wanted to tear her apart.

But you decided to hold off, for now at least.

Cate could hear the voices. Of everyone, whether they were with her or not, a downside to her refusal to take the medications Shetty had given her.

Once again, Madison and Taylor had gone back to Godolkin to essentially keep guard, but were now joined by Emma and Sam.

This left Cate in the presence of Jordan, Marc, Marie, Andre and yourself. She could hear all your voices too.

She'd just tried and failed to schedule a meeting with Shetty, as she returned to the diner to reveal this news.

"Shetty can't meet right now" Cate announced.

"The fuck does that mean?" Jordan snapped.

"Where is she?" Marie asked.

"The city, she'll be back later" Cate nodded. 

"So what do we do?" Jordan questioned.

"I'll wait for her at her house, then when she comes home...I'll make her tell us everything" Cate planned, but she could still hear the thoughts.

"Fucking liar, can't wait to run back to Shetty" Jordan's inner voice yelled.

"If we let her go alone, she'll just stab us in the back" Andre's thoughts screamed.

"How could we trust her when she's still hiding something?" Marie's mind asked.

"I'll go with her" Andre volunteered.

"Its okay" Cate tried to protest.

"No...I'm going" Andre bluntly stated.

"We're going too" Marc said, nodding at Andre.

"You can trust me" Cate tried to convince the others.

"Stay out of our fucking heads!" Jordan yelled, switching to their male form to do so. "Then maybe we'll trust you"

"Jordan..." Marie asked, getting up to follow them.

"Are they...?" You went to ask Marc.

"Fucking?...think so" Marc shrugged, he was honestly pretty happy to hear you speak in a non murdery way, that meant there was still some of you left.
