This is going to be a longer chapter, so be ready !

At last, Tom finally arrived. They looked pretty nervous, social anxiety. Tom arrived around the beginning of lunch, sitting with Matt as soon as they saw him. Me and Edd were still getting out lunch. Every grade has lunch together ... It's pure chaos.

I could hear Matt squeal when Tom came over. Edd blushed when he heard it.

"Simp." I snickered. "Shut up, you're a simp for Tom. You can't be talking."Edd nudged me. I froze. How could Edd have figured out.. WAS I THAT OBVIOUS?!

I slowly turned to Edd, my face was so red. "How.." Edd laughed "Bro, you're like that main character from Miraculous. Literally all of us know except for Tom." Ughh.. I hate when he references that cgi kid show.. Why did Matt have to make Edd watch it with him..

"You really need to stop comparing people to Miraculous characters, Edd."

We got our lunches and headed to Matt and Tom's table. Edd sat down next to Matt.

I looked over at Tom and smiled. "Mind if I sit here?" I asked. Tom looked up at me, turning their head kind of quickly. I guess I might have startled them again. They looked at Edd and Matt for I guess some kind of response. Edd nodded.

Tom looked back at me and gave a small nod. I slowly sat myself down next to them. My eyes and their voids for eyes met, then we quickly looked away and started eating.

Tom wasn't talking so I just listened to Edd and Matt's conversation.

"So I was thinking we could watch Miraculous for our next date again!" Matt smiled. Edd laughed, "Of course we can Matt, I love watching it with you." "Can I bring Jerry?" "Sure! Just make sure he doesn't raid our popcorn like last time." Edd chuckled.

"I'll make sure he doesn't." Matt giggled.

I don't know why, but the way they talk to each other makes me sick.

"Please tell me that this is going to not be in our apartment, Edd?" I said annoyed. I'm so sick of staying up in my bed, going insane, hearing THAT THEME SONG.

"Of course it is." Edd said, smirking.

GOD DAMN IT.

-Time skip to after lunch-

It was our 30 minutes to chill outside. We aren't actually supposed to go out at this age, but hey, we have nice teachers. As soon as we got outside, Edd and Matt ran off somewhere.

I decided to go see where Tom was.

I looked around and eventually found Tom in the back. They were leaning against the wall of the school, with a bunch of art supplies as well as the huge sketchbook. I walked over, and waved. Tom looked up.

"Hi Tom!" I said smiling. "Hi.." the tiny figure spoke. I love their quiet little voice. TINY BEAN!!!!

ANYWAYS..

Tom scooted over a little so I could sit, I guess they expected me to ask, which I was going to. I sat down next to them and tried to catch a glimpse of what they were drawing. Tom looked over at me when they noticed me looking. They kind of clutched the book near their chest.

"You don't have to be afraid of letting people see how beautiful your perspective of the world is. I've seen your art before, it's beautiful." I said quietly, smiling at Tom. "If it's okay with you...could I see what you're drawing?" Tom looked at their drawing for a minute, then looked up at me. They nodded slowly and then turned the book around.

It was an eye with angel wings? Ohhh...I've seen this before. Weirdcore. It honestly looked amazing, the detail in the eye and wings. It looked real. I know eyes can be triggering for some people, so I guess Tom might have thought I might get triggered if I saw?

"That's beautiful.." I kind of muttered. I guess Tom could hear what I said, because their face became preeetty much the colour of my hoodie. They gave a tiny nod. Tom began to shade the wings in.

"You make my art look like garbage." I laughed. I heard the tiny voice speak up again, "Nobody's art is better or worse.. We just have different perspectives, different ways we see the world..." That was the most I've ever heard them talk. I was kind of surprised. "I guess you're right." I nodded.

I watched Tom draw for the rest of our time outside. Tom was letting me watch, which I guess it meant I made a good impression. YES!

Everyday after the first, we would go to the same spot. I would watch Tom draw, and Tom would let me watch. Around the second week, Tom actually started to warm up to me. We would have small conversations about our perspectives of the world, and how annoying the Miraculous theme song was to us because Edd and Matt watch it EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT.

I enjoyed our chats, they were fun and silly sometimes.

It's been about a month and a half since I met Tom. They still have a small voice, but I feel like they're trying their best to work on their speech.

During that outside time, I sat down next to Tom once again. I tried to look over at what Tom was drawing, but they clutched it like the first day we did this.

"Tom, it's okay! Whatever it is, I bet it's beautiful." I smiled at Tom.

"I'll show you when I'm done.." Tom said quietly. I nodded and just fiddled with my phone while I waited. I was looking at Bakugou fanart when I felt a tiny tap on my arm. I quickly turned it off and looked at Tom.

"I WASN'T DOING ANYTHING I WASN'T LOOKING AT BAKUGOU-" I kind of freaked out. Tom sort of jumped. "Oh, sorry Tom." I said more calmly. Tom showed me the drawing, and I think my heart sort of melted. It was a picture of me. It looked just like me..

I just stared.

Tom started to tear it out of their sketchbook. I kind of snapped out of the stare. "Wait, what are you doing?" I asked. Tom handed the drawing to me, I just stared at it again as it was in my hands.

"Thank you for being my friend.."

I ACTUALLY LOVE MIRACULOUS IT WAS SO PAINFUL FOR ME TO WRITE THIS
