WHAT UP CHUCKLE NUTS!!!

Yeah this is the next chapter and i realized something.

I have almost no idea on how to write a slow-burn romance.

In other words thing might move a little fast between Y/N and Annabeth but (hopefully) when the other love interests are introduced i will be much better at writing and will find some way to make it work.

So let's get going.

!!WARNING!!

!!MENTIONS OF SELF HARM AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS!!

========================================================

So it had been about 3 days since Percy had arrived and, respectfully....

He was almost dog-shit at everything he did.

Archery?

Nope.

Running?

Slow.

Metalworking?

Not at all.

The only thing he seemed to be good at was kayaking.

And did I mention that the idiot managed to embarrass/piss off Clarisse and her entire cabin?

Annabeth said that idiot girl tried to give Percy a 'swirly' but somehow the water shot back out and completely soaked her, her friends, and Annabeth.

Yeah Annabeth was also slightly pissed at the fact that she got soaked as well.

Well anyways, today was going to be Percy's first sword lesson.

For some stupid reason he got paired up with me.

"It's so he could learn faster." Was the bullshit Luke had told me when he paired us up.

Was I good with a sword?

Yes. Yes I was.

Was Percy getting his ass handed to him?

Also yes.

He swung with almost no technique and since I had been training for almost six years he stood no chance, the only person I wanted to fight here was Luke.

Why?

Simple. He had the most experience out of almost everyone in camp. He was one of the few to go out and do a quest AND come back alive.

Now was it stupid to be challenging someone A lot older than me?

No, no I don't think so.

So anyway, this is basically what happened.

Percy struck his blade downwards and I simply formed an 'X' with my blades to block his strike, I closed the blades together like scissors, twisted down and his blade fell from his grip like nothing.
