Jasmine Fenton woke with a start to the sound of an insistent knocking at the front door, which she had apparently locked when she went to bed.
"Y-yeah, I'm coming." She called sleepily. Her head was a mess, and she couldn't remember what had happened the night before. She really needed a good cup of coffee. Opening the door, she found two stressed looking teens in front of her. One an African American boy wearing a red beanie, and the other a short, goth girl wearing black combat boots.
"Where's Danny?" They asked insistently.
"Where's who?" She responded groggily, still waking up.
The two teens in front of her stared at each other incredulously, not believing their ears.
"Danny. Y'know, your brother?" Sam said in disbelief. "We went to school and he wasn't there, so we skipped and came to check on him."
"Yeah, we thought it was strange that he texted us last night and told us not to come." Tucker added. "But I just figured he got caught up with a ghost again."
"Jazz, what happened?" Sam asked carefully.
"I-I don't know." Jazz said in a frustrated tone. "One moment, we were all sitting in the kitchen, the next, I woke up in bed."
Sam gave Tucker a look. "We're going to want to sit down for this one."

The Fentons, Sam, and Tucker were all seated at the table in the kitchen. Somehow, the night of Danny's 15th birthday, he had disappeared, leaving not trace behind that Daniel Fenton had ever existed. His room was cleared out without even the faintest trace of dust, and any pictures with him in them had been removed. No documents, belongings, or evidence of any sort remained.
However, the Fenton's memories of the night before were slowly coming back as the effects of the tranquilizer serum finally wore off.
It was time for school, and no one wanted to go until Tucker suggested that it may be a wise idea to see how Danny's classmates and teachers were reacting to his disappearance.
To their surprise, when they arrived at Casper High, everyone was acting strangely normal, though, to be fair, Dash was bullying a different kid than usual. Besides that fact, no one seemed to realize that a student was missing. With a little help from Sam, Tucker even managed to do a little digging in the school records. Yet the Ghost Investigation Ward had been thorough. There was no sign that Danny had ever existed.Sam sighed as she rested her head in her hands. There's no way he was gone. She knew she was going to find him. She just got the dolt to kiss her after all, there was no way she was going to just let him get away now.
"I'm coming Danny." She whispered to herself. "I'll find you, no matter what."
