Welp?

Minji woke up to someone petting her head. It was an odd way to wake up if she was being completely honest. Especially since she didnt know who...or what... was touching her.

The petting went on for only a second longer before it stopped and the sound of a book closing echoed through the room. It seemed to have snapped her mind into conscience.

Looking around, it wasn't the castle and wasn't a cave. That only left two opinions, she was back in the forest or she was in the village.

Minji was able to understand that someone was talking to her but her eyes avoided the person and her mind wasn't able to comprehend what the words were.

That was until her cheek was tapped. Her eyes focused on Namjoon, he was hovering over her slightly, trying to get a good look at what she assumed were her unfocused eyes.

"Minji? Can you hear me?"

Minji slowly blinked. The longer she was awake, the worse her headache was. She frowned and closed her eyes in hopes it would subdue her body aches.

"Ah," Namjoon let out, unsure how to proceed from there.

Minji groaned and tried lifting herself. Namjoon was quick to help her sit up in the bed that she lay in. In this position, she was able to see her surroundings more.

Namjoon was sitting near the bed with a wooden chair. The room was small, big enough for a bed, dresser, and desk, however.

Minji was finally able to look at Namjoon in the eyes.

"Where are we?" her voice was weak, scratchy. Namjoon grinned and it made Minji think he was making fun of her.

"We are in my hometown. It's quite a ways away from the castle... right now we are in my childhood room,"

Minji didnt react to his words.

"We will be staying here for the time being. Mother has let us stay here for a while." Namjoon continued, taking hold of her hand.

"I found you badly injured so you should stay here in this room as long as possible. From the looks of it, you have received some kind of blow to the head. Nothing a little time can't fix,"

"I want to go home.." Minji whispered.

Namjoon raised his eyebrows. "Home?"

Minji nodded as tears filled her eyes.

"You are home." Namjoon was stern, reminding her that this was the same muscleman Minji knew back at the castle.

Minji shook her head, making her headache worse. "I want to go back to my cottage,"

Namjoon gave her hand a threatening squeeze. "Minji, im going to be saying it nicely. This is the only time. This will be home until we move out. We can consider your cottage when it comes time. However, during this time, you need to focus on recovering."

Minji pulled her hand away from Namjoon, pushing her hair away from her face. There was hair that seemed to be more frizzy than normal, getting in her line of sight.

Namjoon seemed to get the hint and sat up, gently pulling her face completely away from her face. Minji stayed still until Namjoon was finished putting her hair into a bun that sat on top of her head.

"Is that good?" Nmajoon asked. Minji nodded, surprised that Nmajoon was able to make a decent-quality bun with her thick hair.

"Mother is making soup, for the time being, to get something in your stomach. I will warn you now, she can be a little mean but she means well. I would appreciate it if you didnt cause any unwanted drama like you did at the castle."
