AN:  reminder the words in italics means voices/things others has said but the character is quoting them. I decided I didn't like the underline sorry for the random change.
This chapter switches POV between 2 characters.

(felix POV)

As I opened the door to my house I heard yelling from upstairs. As I set my things down I looked around. The living room was a mess, broken glasses around the place, drawers open, this place looked like it was robbed.

As I slowly walked up the creaky steps I heard more and more yelling. I heard hitting and the sound of things being thrown. When I reached the top of the stairs I looked at my room. The door was open and so were my siblings' doors. I heard the cries for help from my sister's room.

It was happening again.

I had to get out. I ran down the stairs and straight out the house. I ran out with nothing but my cell phone and wallet in my back pocket. I ran to the closest friend's house I could.

Thoughts filled my mind. I thought it was all over. I thought it was all better. I thought everything was fine. I thought we were fine.

"It always comes back, you know nothing leaves forever. Nothing will be fixed. It broken just like you are Felix"

I was out of breath when I reached the house. I saw the lights were out and no signs of anyone was him. He wasn't home.

I sat on his porch as I pulled out my phone. I scrolled through my contacts. I wasn't sure where I could go. I saw seungmin contact. I could go to his place but he's helping innie right now. I can't go to hyunjin or Minho because we aren't super close nor did I know where they lived. I saw my only option so I got up and started to walk there.

As the sunsetted down and the stars opened their eyes. The light of the sun slowly disappeared. It was 7pm as I walked along the sideways. I didn't want to go home. I couldn't go home. The sun went to sleep as the moon awakened.

"Darkness always comes after light. Just like how it was all light but darkness came, did it?"

I took a deep breath as I rang the doorbell. This was my last hope, my only hope. If not I had to go home I didn't want to. I just wanted to run away.

(Changbin POV)

The door swung open as a blonde-haired boy walked in and went to Chan immediately. I went back to writing my songs but I heard muffled cries from my headphones. I looked up and saw the boy hugging Chan as he started to cry in his arms.

I wasn't sure who the boy was till I gave a confused look at chan. I saw Chan mouth his name. it was Felix, the one that was friends with jisung. I didn't want to be nosy so I went back to work.

I heard chan comfort the boy and he slowly stopped crying. The boy wiped his tears as he calmed down. my heart broke seeing him like that. I didn't know him well. We talked like twice in person and in the group chat but he always seemed like a bubbly boy.

He got off of chan and stood there for a while. The atmosphere wasn't awkward. I looked up at him and we made contact. I didn't want him to just stand there so I decided to let him sit on the couch with me.

"Hey Felix"

"hi" his voice was still a bit messed up from the crying.

"You can sit with me" he looked confused and a bit flushed. I pulled him over to the couch as he sat down.
