The day had finally arrived, the day Alex was looking forward to with determination.
He and along with his assistant Megan landed just today. She had all the data and everything ready.
Everyone in the office who didn't know about CEMO( globally Chopra Management organization is known as CEMO) was wondethe boss why was paying so much emphasis to a meeting with an event managing organization.
But they didn't know much this event meant to him not because this event was related to him ut to his father.
Who was taking his retirement, he wanted to make this day special for his father who is the sole reason for his success. It was the fruit of his success that he riped his whole life.
He entered the office was impressed by it's ambience. He saw a large reception desk area the side had a rich brown leather worked wall.
As soon as they enter his secretary asked him to sit on the large seating area which was specially maintained for guests. Muskaan made sure that employees had an amazing work environment .Meanwhile his secretary enquired about the meeting.
The receptionist confirmed and then called the chief manager.
She greeted Alexander and guided Alexander and his p.a to the meeting hall.
"Hello Mr.Alexander, a pleasure meeting you I am Riane Davis, the chief manager of CEMO,I would give you a little tour for today and then exactly after 12 mins leave you to your meeting room."said Riane.
"I suppose we didn't realise that we are a bit early" said Alex's p.a
"Actually Ma'am first had a textile meeting it just got released a minute before" replied Riane.
"I don't value those who don't value my time" said Alex
"don't worry sir our ma'am is exactly the same" said riane
They all started moving.
"the view from this mirror lift is beautiful and employees look a lot happier here" said p.a
"yeah Muskaan ma'am is the best boss one could ask for like she is strict when needed and as soft as cotton when needed, she made this little leisure room for all the employees so that they can rest if feeling low or something" replied Riane.
The bright smiles show Alex what Riane meant.
The usage of mirrors were incredible. Alex saw a huge room with thousands of rolls silk cloths falling in a room.
"what is that" he asked the manager
"That is the special cardinal room for the innovative shade check. " said Riane
"CEMO guarantees is class& quality if ma'am decides to take your event it will be a lit." riane added proudly.
Soon she saw Muskaan's P.a and handed them to her.
"Thanks for your help Ms.Davis I will handle from here." said Vidhi
"Hello Mr.Carter I am Vidhi Garg Muskaan ma'ams personal assistant".
"please be seated sir " said Vidhi.
"what is this " the p.a of Alex said to Vidhi.
"This is vada pav a very famous snack of mumbai it's an a complementary thing that provides essence of Mumbai " said Vidhi
"this is delicious," said Alex's Pa. After a few minutes Alex also had it.
After 5 mins came Muskaan Chopra. When she opened the meeting room and went inside
"I apologize for the delay Mr...Carter" It took her a second to digest. Alexander was also shocked.
They both collected themselves and then the meeting took place.
Alex's p.a gave out all the information but soon Muskaan spoke.
"I apologize Mr. Carter but we can't organise your event formally," said Muskaan calmly.
Alexander was shocked at how can someone reject his offer. that to an event managing organization. Alex was sure this was the fruit of their rivalry.
"Ms.Gupta please entertain Ms.Megan I have some work with Mr.Alexander" Vidhi was shocked that this was something new Muskaan wanting to talk to a client after the meeting was over.
They all went anyhow.
"Meet me at the parking in 5 minutes 1 basement, I want to talk to you," said Muskaan.
"what is left to talk I came up with a proposal for you, you rejected it's over," said Alexander he was bucked up he made up his mind he was gonna hire another Event planner. Who loves to work not just talk.
"Just come, Alexander," said Muskaan
"When we came to first name basis," said Alexander.
"When you were busy staring in my eyes," she said with hint of amusement.
"just come, you 'll get a solution to your problem"said Muskaan.
At the parking:
"where are we going?" he asked looking confused.
"Somewhere I can eat " she said dramatically.
"Don't tell me like typical girls you have not eaten anything the whole day and now we are going on a date" Alexander said looking at Muskaan with disbelief in his eyes.
"I know you don't believe me but it would not even be the last thing in my mind Now shut up and let me take something to eat then I will tell you why are we here" said Miskaan.
"maybe you are taking me to a shadow place and gonna claim manhood of this machoman " he said seriously looking at muskaaan she made a disgusting face.
"in your dreams you so called macho man" bickering he didn't realise that the car has stopped somewhere
Alexander looked around and didn't see anything he expected a tall fancy building a small building nothing.
It was a dark alley with few fairy lights a long tall led lamp and a huge line of shops.
