(EDITED)
JULIE DIDN'T KNOW WHY SHE WAS DOING THIS.
She didn't understand why she even considered giving the boy who made her adolescent years hell the time of day.One second, she was about to unbox gifts from followers.
Now she was in a Fortnite lobby with the man she swore she'd never speak to again.
Agent suggested that they play a few practice rounds, just to see what he was going up against. He assumed that she was mediocre at best, just like back in math class.
He was wrong.
He could tell she'd been practicing for a while now, and most definitely was not a beginner. The worst part of it all? How nonchalant she seemed about it.
"I'm ready when you are, Agent." She stated, seemingly unbothered. Deep down though, she was deeply agitated. She'd done perfectly well acting like he didn't exist over the years, all for a follower with a dollar to ruin it all.
It wasn't that she was trying to be petty by not showing any emotion. She just wanted it to be clear to him that they weren't friends, and this was strictly for content. The last thing she wanted was to end up on The Shade Room for her "beef" with an AMP member. She saw how that went for Fredo, someone he'd had conflict with in the past.
"Alright, so here's how this is gonna go," He started. "This is simply a friendly wager, similar to the one I did with Kai." Only she could point out the extra emphasis on "friendly". "We'll play build battle, and the loser has to give the winner $5,000, cash." This made her pause. She's in Texas, and he's in Georgia. Why would they be competing for cash?
"...I could really just Zelle you the money Agent," She suggested. "I'm not gonna lose though, so it's fine." The last part was unnecessary, but the sentence prior sounded a bit too polite. Now she was being petty.
"You haven't changed." He quickly mumbled. His chat wasn't going to let that one slide though.
jollyboy123: They know each other?
DinsMassiveForehead: They were already friends wtfff we been robbed of content fr

It's safe to say Agent didn't know who he was playing with. Julie absolutely destroyed him in the game and was feeling herself.
"We could go again if you want Agent. You're rich, right?" She said teasingly.
"Nah, you won fair and square."
Julie had more fun playing with him than she'd like to admit. More than she would ever admit. It was almost like she was rekindling with a long lost friend, and their chemistry hadn't faded a bit. Almost.
