we meet again..

It's been four years since Hades left Athena She's 23 now and hades is 25

Athena POV

I get out of bed and check the time "shit." I quickly get out of bed and put on my clothes I wear a cropped hoodie and a pair of baggy black pants and walk out the room into Cain and Kails room "Cain!! kail!! wake upp!" I say as I start to bend down near Cain and kail "mama! I'm tired!" Kail says in a soft spoken tone as she looks at me with tired eyes.

I stare for a second "kail you have to wake up cmon! you to stinker" I say as I tickle Cains tummy and Cain bursts out laughing suddenly with his small voice "fine fine!" Cain says giggling and kail sits up and so does Cain "can we have strawberry and cheerios!" Cain and Kail say at the same time and that makes Me laugh "of course!"

I stand up off the floor and my knees crack fuck I'm getting old "cmon let's go!" I say as I grab kail and Cains hand and they grab mine and we start to walk towards the kitchen where I sit them both on there chairs

I walk over to the cabinet and grab cherrios and pour them into a bowl and then walk over to the fridge and open it and grab milk and pour it inside both of cains and kails bowls and open a drawer and grab two spoons and put the bowl of cherrios infront of them and Cain and kail giggle as they start to eat there cereal.

I see my phone on the counter charging I pick it up and turn it on and I see his face right on my screen.. I still havnt changed it so I just become frozen wanting to cry but can't I always have told Cain and kail who there dad is and story's about him they seem to enjoy them

I snap back into reality when I hear kails little voice "mama! where are the strawberrys!" Kail says in a whiny tone and I smile "oh no princess! I will get you your strawberrys! sorry princess kail!" I say with a smile and set My phone down and open the fridge and grab 4 straw berry's and grab a little trey for them both and start to cut up the strawberrys with a knife.

I finish the strawberry's and slide over the trey to the both of them and they both smile and giggle and Cain stares at me "thank you mama!" Cain says with a big smile. I take in a deep breath since Cain looks so much like his dad it hurts.

[time skip]

I went to a restaurant with Cain and kail it was lunch time we got sat pretty quickly and we ordered some drinks I got some root beer it was good and Cain wanted milk and kail wanted Milk too so they both got milk and kail was eating chips that were covered in salt and lime

I was eating them too while Cain watched YouTube on my phone and kail and I kept talking "I don't like preschool mama! they make me take naps" Kail said.. kail Definitely got my additude "so do you not like naps anymore? because you seem to love them at home kiddo" I say and Kail rolls her eyes and I dart my eyes to cains chair..

Hades POV

i walk inside the restaurant I'm suppose to meet my friend Oliver in.. I'm gonna talk about Athena for the 100th time to him but he doesn't mind I think..

I get brought over to Oliver who stands and hugs me "what's up man!!" Oliver says with his usual cheery voice and i sit down across from Oliver "I'm just been chilling work has been hard and rough so chilling" I say honestly and oliver laughs loud "that's not chilling" Oliver says and I roll my eyes then I can hear Two little voices in the next booth across from us they are kinda loud so I huff in anoyyace
