Pierces POV:

"Princes Ava hasn't left her chambers in a few moons now..." I thought. The bright moon shone its frigid fervency into the apartment, the burnt door knob was still not fixed, and still, Ava had yet to talk to anyone, the fact Ava maintained in her room stood unsettling, not even coming out for nourishment. Leif tested phasing into her walls but her death spell shook him too much. Asch and Rhys have resorted to remaining out of her way, Noi is very excessive about his concerns, constantly staring at her door, trying to get in. Asch's spirit has yet to be seen.

"If the time does come, if Ava were to marry one of us, what will it mean for us... what will it mean for Asch? Will we fit into the Daemos customs of Matrimony? Or oblige to Human customs?" I pondered my hand clutched my sword tight as I carefully gazed at the window, The rest of the men are in their part of this home, yet I have stayed here eyeing on the doorframe.

"Humans here exist significantly distinct to ones on Daemos..." I could feel magic being utilized when I looked behind the chair... I could only see Leif's distinct white hair. His eyes had little remorse despite much melancholy, but that is the curse of teal eyes, isn't it?

"Seems you didn't get much sleep? Tell me why that is, oh great Gener-" I huffed before he spoke again, "What did Asch say about duration here?" I had stood up, being a foot taller than him, arranging my sword at my side.

"No need to get all, worked up" Leif chuckled cocking his head towards the daemos entrance. I saw his posture it looked frightened a bit, usually he'd stand as if better than everyone. Seems Earth has changed everyone, even myself included, and this will not be good for any future situations.

"Asch wants you right now, we have something extremely serious," his sigh said everything to me. I nodded my head before a second thought, I paced myself to phase through the wall. To what I find, is shouting. Asch must be full of problems today. I soon came to the temporary throne room. Asch holding the arms of the throne with such fire in his eyes.

"Prince Asch, we still do not know who Ava will marry!" seeing Noi triggered is very small care anyone would have.

"Noi, even though we are in this small pocket realm, doesn't mean no one can hear us," Rhys snapped back, huffing. Their stares darted at me fiercely. Seems I have come to this meeting late.

"Pierce, where have you been I called everyone for this gathering" Asch walked down his throne to where I stood acting as if he was king.

"I watched over Ava's door remaining for her appearance... no signs" I sighed, not wanting to be another third person in this gathering.

"Well, Rhys will tell you all that you've missed" Asched huffed, storming out, of the throne room. He has always been this entitled and rageful, nothing new. Rhys stepped forward rubbing his temples, his staff was on the other side of the chamber now.

"Pierce, we have little to no time left, we must find which one of us is suitable for Ava, so far she hasn't answered through her actions." He leaned on the wall, his vein bursting out his head, seems he was just as pissed as Asch.

"My magic is running dry now, most of you have enough to make a trip back home, you have conserved more magic than all of us, we will use it when it is time" I stared at him menacingly, I was a bit bothered how all of us have used more magic even after conserving as much as possible.

"I will not use my magic, not now, and not here" I huffed, magic wasn't something I was proud of, let alone happy for, it was important to Daemos, but seeing as how humans here don't use it... seems these humans don't have any at all... but I will not uniform that to Rhys. Ava would be at risk then.

"Pierce, you will use it, it won't be soon, but it will happen... I am much younger than you, and yet I still have knowledge of concealing magic for too long" Rhys lectured, I acknowledged his concerns. But I have no use for them.

"Understood" I muttered, my brain had held many thoughts of how things will play out, till I spoke silently...

"Rhys, what customs will we follow if Asch is the one chosen" I looked down at him, fiercely keeping my sword, wishing for a good response. Within Rhys' eyes, I only discovered nothing but silence.

"I am positive Asch will go the Daemos Courtship route, after all, we need Ava and her people's magic supply," he harshly said. "Besides that is the route we are taking, after all, we are all here for the exact thing, and the exact way" I grabbed his staff and exited out, without another comment.

"Ava.... I feel remorse for you being in this situation" I sighed. She is a princess, and yet we treat her as a captive, I don't assume she thinks of us like that, not at all. Even yet if she chooses someone, and if it is me... I will not use Daemos Courtship... she is too kind to deserve being used. Daemos Courtship will only make her an object and not a living being, especially with the Magic Crisis.

I walked out the Chamber, and saw Asch banging on Ava's door, enraged as ever. Leif just laughed as Noi was holding or trying to hold Asch back. Rhys was not here yet. The sun had yet to risen from the grey city. The same frigid breeze came in. It didnt affect me but it felt refreshing enough.

"Prisoner!!! Get out of there"
