"You know I would go to the end of the world for you"
It was a little past noon and it was almost time for them to meet up. Melanie was nervous as she hasn't seen josh in over 14 years.
He was there for everything
But once it was time to raise their beautiful daughter, he bailed. He couldn't take the responsibility and threw in the towel. And he's regretting everything. The decision he made 14 years ago has him regretting everything. Selfishness was the only thing that made his walk away as he only thought about himself.
He never thought of the price he would pay when the time would come and he never thought it would be this soon.
Josh snapped out of his thoughts as the front door of the beautiful house opened up revealing Melanie.
He's seen her success on social media so he's caught up on all on her. Sounds pretty creepy but hey
Her beauty still shining bright as always. Her brown doe eyes catching his off guard with a beautiful plastered smile on her face.
"Josh? You there?" She said waving her hand in front of his face catching his attention. "Y-Yeah. Hey Mel" he smiled softly speaking trying his best not to let his minds control his actions
Everything felt like slow motion, almost like the air had been sucked out of earth. His eyes never leaving hers glimpsing at the glow in them. The glow that she's always had
"How are you? Come in" she exclaimed as her charming smile caused him to smile.
"I'm good..how' bout you Mel?". "I've been good. I see you've been doing it big mr. Main event" she smiled as he flexed a bit like usual.
She was the only one that truly knew he was going to make it somehow. He just had that factor to him. Success
"You seen? I thought you forgot about ole' boy" he laughed watching as her face twisted up in a smile. "How could I not? I mean Your the big thing now...I'm...proud of you.." she said softly. Softer than a feathers touch
His insides feeling warm and fuzzy. He smiled as he felt his breath hitch. "Thank you...really". She smiled before they began talking about Jeylee

"I mean She's you. All of you. Her whole life everything she does from the way she plays her sports, to the way she she talks..just the way she carries herself. She has josh written all over here" Melanie smiled as she looked at the baby pictures.
Josh smiled looking at the picture book. "Wow..she looks just like me" he said in complete awe. His smile bright looking over the picture when she was a small baby. His literal twin
Melanie knew that Jeylee probably would have a mixed reaction with the who situation but it was about time that this big secret and lie came out.
"So how will we go about this? I mean I know she might freak out a bit so we should have a plan set to make sure this goes smoothly" josh imputed. Melanie nodded and she already had the right way to tell her
"Don't worry. I have a great way to tell her when the time is right. I don't want it to startle her with me just throwing it at her".
They needed to attack this situation with the right introduction and make sure that nothing went wrong
