"Jeylee hurry up! We have to go now!" Melanie yelled as her daughter was still not ready for school.

All cause of that damn phone.

"Okayyy jeez calm down" "no your school is too far for you to be getting up this late. Let it be the last time". Jeylee huffed grabbing her backpack and running towards her SUV and made their way to school.

Melanie and Jeylee aren't your average mother daughter duo. They live in the Atlanta suburbs located in downtown in a beautiful mini mansion. Melanie was a single mom and never asked for any help, even when she really needed it but, as the strong, hard working badass she is she made it happen

Jeylee was a crazy, carelessly teenager.  But She was also very shy person, just like Melanie

"Mom when does shocky come back? He never complains about being late". Melanie rolled her eyes and eyed her. "We'll maybe because I pay him to drive you places not to complain".

"Anyway since today is Friday, I'm getting another driver to pick you up okay? I'm going to have someone over this afternoon" "ooohh. Is it a guy?" "Yes but not like that" she laughed making Jeylee suspicious about This mystery man

"Mom you know my game on Saturday. They moved the time to 11:40".

Jeylee was her little Athlete. She competed in many sports growing up such as soccer, flag football, basketball, and many, many more

It was the only way to calm her down

Just like josh

They arrived to jeylee's school and she got her things. "Bye mom" "bye my gorgeous baby. I love you". She walked away and she drove off before receiving a call from josh.

Her heart thumping as she answered before she heard his voice

"Good morning cherry".

"I love you cherry"

"Man imma wife you up cherry"

"Stop playin cherry"

A nickname that was once dear to her heart. But that was a long time ago and times have changed big time. "Josh don't call me that" she laughed. "I'm sorry. Anyway we still having dat talk at yo crib?" He said. She was 99.9% sure he was smirking behind the phone

"Y-Yeah" "Good I'll see you later then mama" before she could respond josh hung up on her.

Joshua and Melanie had a relationship that started back in the year 2001 when they were sophomores in Pensacola, Florida. After she moved from Atlanta to Pensacola as Melanie's father took over her grandfather's place as owner of his real estate company

She met josh on her first day at Escambia High school. She was so nervous and josh welcomed her with open arms. Her, Joshua, and Jon were inseparable. The dynamic trio.

They planned a whole life after high school. That's how close they were. Melanie was a valedictorian and had a scholarship to any college she wanted in the country. Even Harvard. But she gave it up all to go to collage with the twins at The university of West Alabama.

Even though the twins and Melanie all had a equal friendship, Melanie and josh slowly but surly fell for one another. They had feelings more than friends and josh took the first step

Joshua and Melanie were sitting at a local bar near their campus on a quiet Friday night. Josh didn't want to wait any longer and let someone else win her over before him.
