chapter twenty four

After two hours of writing that horrible maths test l was done. I was going to go to my locker until l suddenly felt a hand drag me. I was too slow to process what was happening and as soon as l knew it l was in a dark room but it didnt stay dark for too long as light spread across the room within seconds. I fixated my eyes on whoever was the culprit and it was sarah she looked very mad. "Yes?" I ask curiosly she stared deep into my eyes. "Leave my man alone." I was confused her man? What man? "Who?"

"You know...mason." l rolled my eyes back so hard that l almost saw my brain. "Its not my fault you cheated on him."

"Keep being all romatic with him and l will make sure to tell his and your mother." Was she really doing this to me right now?

Before l could say another word she left the room leaving me clueless but l shrugged it off  and got out of the room and headed to my locker to get out my next book for my next test as l was closing my locker l felt a hand on my shoulder which sent chills down my spine l quickly turned around to see mason l was relieved. "Hey." He said with a smile l smiled back. "Hi."

"So l was wondering if you wanted to come to my house?"

"Oh uhh l cant my mom is picking me up soon."

"Oh okay thats fine." He looked down looking a bit sad but he brightened up. "See you tomorrow l guess." I nod and smile. "Bye."

"Bye.." l walk past him and go for the school exit as l exited school l spotted my moms car l got into the car and she finally spoke to me. "Hey sweetie."

"Hi mom." I was glad she was over this. She starts to drive. "So l want to take you to a clothing store."  She says out of nowhere l was wondering why. "Why?"

"So we can get you a dress for your birthday party." I was suprised. "Oh okay."we soon make it to a nearby mall she switches off the engine and we both get out of the car and head into the mall l look around and see plenty of clothing stores but we soon decided on one store that l never saw before but l decided to go into the store. I looked at some of the dresses and they looked pretty but one caught my eye. It was a beautiful orange dress that reminded me of the sunset and l knew l had to buy it or l was missing out. So l took a size and went towards my mom. "Wow honey that dress looks fabulous." I nod while smilling. "Yeah let me try it on real quick." She nods and smiles. I go to the fitting room and tried it on. It fitted perfectly and l felt so beautiful in this dress and l needed it.

Once l was done obsessing over myself in this dress l took it off and l put on my original outfit before leaving the dressing room. I got back to my mom pratically skipping in joy. "Its fits can we buy it please?"

"Of course honey as long as it makes you happy." I smile and hug her tightly. "Okay dont kill me now." I laugh and let her go we head over to the casheir and the total was one hundred dollars which was pretty expensive but l did not mind as l wasnt going to pay for it. My mother pays for it and l take the bag with the dress and l was excited to wear it for tomorrow. "So mom what are you doing for my birthday?"

My mom looked at me and smiled. "Its a suprise honey." As much as l didnt really like surprises l guess l could let this one slid. "Okay." We head back to her car and she starts to drive l just looked outside the window admiring the scenery outside.

We soon made it back home l was happy to be back. I got my dress and went into the house and max was waiting for us he barked and while wagging his tail and ran to us. I petted him before leading him away from the door. I close and lock the door after and lead him up to my room while my mom did whatever. Once l was in my room and max was in too l closed the door and l petted him. "I missed you boy." He barks and twirls around. I give him a kiss on his nose. "Now l need to study for my next test alright?" I say to him even though he didnt know what l was saying. I go towards my desk and l start to study even though l didnt want to. While studying my mother came into my room. "Hey l just wanted to say you should pack up some clothes for two days." I turn to look at her with a curious look. "For what?" I ask. "Its a suprise just pack up." Before l could say anything she left so l just got to packing and after that l went back to studying.
