chapter twenty eight

Note: hey guys sorry for taking a long break l just needed to step away from writing for a bit. For that l will be giving an extra chapter.

Later in the night l went downstairs to get water and Max kept trying to follow me but l tried to push him back into the room and after a bit he complied and stayed in my bedroom. I quietly went downstairs thinking no one was there but instead l saw my dad on the couch snoring away which was weird but l let it past and l quickly got my water before going back to my room.

The next morning the sun was shinning bright which l was grateful for as l didnt want to end up in the same predicament as yesterday. I yawned and stretched ready to start the day. I went downstairs and got myself some cereal while doing that l saw Max sleeping peacefully in the kitchen l guess he was sick of my room l got some dog food and poured some for him for when he woke up. Then l went back upstairs to eat.

After eating l got ready and walked towards school, soon spotting my girls. I got up to them and tapped on their shoulders. They both turned around to face me and smiled. "Hey." Shalom said looking a bit too excited. "Hello guys!" I said with a little wave. "What's up?" I asked curious about shaloms excitement. "She got asked out." Riley said. "By who?"

"James!" She said ecstatic I was happy for her. "Wow that's amazing. What about you riley?" I asked turning towards her. "Well no one is really...catching my eye."

"Girl those are lies what happened to your crush?" Shalom said crossing her arms. "Well lm just not intrested in him anymore he is playing hard to get."

"Oh alright." We heard the bell ring meaning it was another day of boring classes l said goodbye to them and headed to my class luckily l was on time.

During break time l went out into the back field to see the ball being passed around by some boys but l just ignored it and went towards the cafeteria to see the girl that took care of my dog a.k.a the girl that poured coffee on my white shirt. She came up to me. "Hello." She said with a smile l was a bit confused but l smiled back just a little. "Hi." I replied waiting to hear what she wanted.

"I know we started off the wrong foot but the thing was Sarah wanted me to spill coffee on you as a form of punishment for being close to mason."
She said looking apologetic. "Oh it's okay l should have known." She smiled and nodded."Thank you for understanding." I smiled back. "Your  welcome."

Soon the bell rang. "Well bye." She waved at me before leaving l nodded and headed towards my classroom I sat down at my table and took out my note pad, writing notes for my next exam.

After school l headed towards my locker and got some things for tomorrow's exam when l turned around l saw mason. "Hey." He said with a smile l smiled back at him. "Hey."

"How are you doing?" He asked leaning agaisnt the wall. "I'm doing alright what about you?"

"Im happy now because lm with you." I smiled and gave him a soft kiss. "I'm happy  too." He smiled back. " I'm glad l really missed you the whole day l was thinking about you and l couldn't even focus on class."

"Well l wish l could say the same."

"Ouch." He said letting out a soft chuckle. "Fair enough l guess. Your really focusing on acing that test of yours huh?" I nod. "Definitely." Soon footsteps approached behind us l turned around to see Shalom. "Hey Stella who is this?"

"Oh hi this is mason my uhm...my friend!" I said with an awkward smile. "Best friend." He added in l chuckled a bit. "Yeah my best friend."

"I swear l have seen you somewhere around here.." Shalom said before pausing for a moment. "Oh yeah! We met in the cafeteria."
